Kdma's Diary...Restarting today 21st April

have a lovely christmas x
 
Had a lovely day. Husband wasn't too bad in day, but started feeling not so good again in the evening. He not feeling 100% today, but has gone to work despite begging him not too. He won't give in. He is off tomorrow and sunday, so he can relax although Kids have a party tomorrow.

I have eaten far too much, so expecting a big weight gain come 5th January when i weigh in, but will get back on track then.

The wii is great and have been playing tennis, bowling and boxing on it today. I am rubbish at it, although did win a boxing, but it is great fun and hopefully will get a wii fit in the new year. Hopefully the wii will give me some much needed exercise if the kids will let me get on it. They are so chuffed with it.
 
really glad you and family are enjoying the wii - it really is fantastic fun :) men are so stubborn arent they? mine insisted he had his inhaler when we were going down to visit my step mum (who has Lenny an extremely drooley sharpei!) and when he started feeling badly he announced he had changed his mind and didnt think he would need the inhaler so hadnt brought it - so i spent the whole night awake every time he moved as i was so paranoid about his breathing!

Really hope you and yours are all better now :) x
 
Have been so good today. Oats so simple syrup porridge and homemade turkey soup and a roll, although the roll was a quite a large roll, but was multi-grain so healthy. Not sure I can keep it up today mind you, but will have a go. There are still many chocolates (pressies) in the house. I am not a big chocolate fan, but do tend to eat it if its's there. Not really counting points until 5th, but am going to try to have good days amongst the bad.

Husband was feeling better, but is not so good again. It seems to be a bt of a rollercoaster. He is off til monday, so hopefully he will improve today and tomorrow. It does worry me.

Sorry to hear you DH is not feeling well again, hope he will be right as rain by Monday. Glad to hear you had a lovely Xmas. I see we both have been enjoying our wii fits, a fun way to work off the xmas feast. Have a lovely afternoon.
 
hey hon, glad you had a good christmas but sorry to hear your dh is still not well. hope he manages to have a good rest over the weekend and is feeling better by monday x

Well good intentions yesterday went to pot when I ate a fair few chocolates.

Am going to clean up today and then the plan is a long walk with the dogs, so hopefully burn off a little.

Expecting a very big weight gain January 5th, but am allowing myself that and then will def get back on track. Plan to join the valentines challenge once Jan 5th is here and I know what i have to lose.

Hubby is still not 100%, but is improving. It is the horrid cough which is the worse now. He needs to be better by New Year as he is cooking the goose lol. I hate goose, but I said If I could choose Christmas day lunch he could choose New year's.

Got my resit dates for my open university exams. They are end of April, so need to get sorting revision notes for them. Also got books for new open university course. (so want to pass resits and nerw course as will get degree Dec 2009 if i do, although not counting my chickens). Also need to look at NVQ 2 suporting learning and teaching. Hoping haven't bitten off more than I can chew on this, but it will at least keep me from chewing real food lol. I plan to start tomorrow. The new course doesn't officially start until February and although got books haven't got assignments until Jan 22nd. I think I have time to do prep for ist assignment by then or shortly after. Hoping to get ahead to help with other bits. Sorry this is more for my benefit as I am hoping if I keep writing down thoughts it will make it more concrete and achievable. Anyway Resits will be out the way End of April and NVQ2 the tutor thinks I can finishe by June, so that give me time to soley concentrate on new course for the exam in October.
 
Hi Glad you had a good christmas and hope your husband improves.

Good luck with the OU especially the re-sits. I always feel sad at this time of year now I don't have a course to start. Hope it all goes well for you - it had a major impact on my life.

Good luck with your OU revising and pre-reading - I always try to get ahead of myself with the OU as their timetables can be crippling!!! Especially with the TMAs - they always seem to be bunched together. Hope OH gets getter soon hun. Hope you enjoyed your walk too - twas a nice bright crisp cold day this end xxx
 
Decided to take AnnaB's lead and have a wi. 2.5 ibs on. Really pleased with that strangely as expected more.

Amy going to atempt (although not convinced I will be) to be good for next 3 days. I know i won't be news year day. And then come Jan 2nd atempt to get properly back on track in hope that I reach pre-christmas weight or near to it by Jan 5th.

I'm glad you decided to weigh in, especially as you gained less than you expected :)

I needed to know what damage I had done as otherwise I would have carried on eating & used the whole 'not knowing' thing as an excuse just to eat more. My mind works in a crazy way! :8855:
 
2.5lbs is not too bad at all! It will be off in no time. Here's to an 'ok' week this week and a fantastic one next week :D

I think you might be right on that one. I think it may have done me good to wi as I am hoping it will keep me motivated to be good til New years day. Brought the ww magazine today for some inspirations too.
 
So pleased you braved the WI and you're pleased with the result. You'll shed those squatters in no time come the new year. Did you enjoy your walk yesterday?
