Ingredients

1 pack of extra lean (less than 5% fat) mince
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp garam masala
2 tbsp mild curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 can chopped tomatoes
frozen peas
frylight

Method

Spray a frying pan with 3 or 4 squirts of Frylight.

Brown the onion, garlic and turmeric until fragrant and then add the mince.

With a wooden spoon break up the mince and until the meat has browned.

Add the chopped tomatoes and then add the spices. simmer for 20 mins then add the frozen peas. I haven't specified an amount as I just pour (loads) in from the bag. cook for a further 5-7 mins and serve.


I usually take a wholemeal tortilla wrap and heat on the gas stove to eat it with like a chappati but this can be 9.5 syns :/

i always do Extra Easy so this is free on that, I dont really understand red and green days sorry. I've just checked the book and by the look of it you can have 100g or 190g garden pea, doesn't mention frozen peas as 1 HEXB choice. Not quite sure why there is a difference in the weight though? :) x
