Hi Chel

You get the calories from the energy section.

EG,
Energy 100g contains
1495kj
355 kcal

So therefore the calories would be 355 calories per 100g.

You're welcome. Good luck on calorie counting, I love it and it soon becomes second nature to you. Nothing is forbidden, you can have your weaknesses, chocolate or crisps etc, as long as you add them in.

when you count the calories do you look at the fat content aswell? I read once that you should stay away from food that has more than 5 grams of fat per 100 grams??????????????
thanks x x x

To be honest, I dont look at anything except the calories, as long as you are having the variety in your diet, carbs, protein, calcium, fruit, veg then you shouldnt be overloading on anything that is too high. I tend to go by the method of a quarter of your plate should be protein, quarter of your plate should be carb (I tend to keep this lower though) and half your plate should be veg/salad.
