Ketosis question

You are in ketosis until something kicks u out - so if your 100% u should be in ketosis until u start eating carbs - about day 3/4 of re- feed.. Hope this helps?

When the body doesnt have enough carbs to use for fuel it goes into ketosis so it can convert fat instead. If you eat more than around 60g of carbs in a day (although this varies from person to person) then you will be knocked out of ketosis and the body will use the carbs for fuel instead. You then have to go through the process of reduced carbs to get back in.

Despite what some people have experienced, it still takes me a good 5-7 days to get back into ketosis again once knocked out, even though I've been in and out so many times -.- Currently on day 6 of reduced carbs and still waiting, grr... heh
