a family member of mine told me to get some ketostix 2 tell when my body was fat burning.does anybody no what result you get when this is the case.

is it true that ketostix only work for people on atkins style diets?
or would they show positive results on any kind of diet? I heard of them and was wondering this..

These sticks are supposed to show that you are in ketosis, I'm presuming they would only work on a low carb diet. I tried them once, didn't show anything even though i was loosing. All I got was wet fingers.

And they are expensive. People only seem to use them on a VLCD type diet

If you are on a VLCD like Cambridge or Lighter life you achieve Ketosis. To test you are in Ketosis you pee on the ketostix and if it turns pink you are in Ketosis and burning fat.

i got mine for just over 5 pounds from lyods chemist. they do work for people on low carb diets butmy auntie who suggested them to me is losing weight on the atkins diet.
