Hi just popped on, but not read yet, as I'm off out....

Just to let you know, there's a new SW soup cook book if you wanted some others.... I make loads of soup, normally frozen veg, oxo, simmer, blend!

There's a nice tomato one that's like Heinz... and I don't like non Heinz tomato soup , I'm not a snob, any other flavour I don't care, but I'd rather go without for tomato!

Thanks, unfortunately last night things have taken a turn for the worst and he is not doing as well, hopes and prayers he pulls through!!

totally struggled last night with diet as was crying eyes out all night and comfort eating but i just had one refresher bar so going to look at syn values
 
Today going to try and plan as i know it going to be hard over next few days.

B - 2 x small brown bread, dairlea triangle and turkey with a satsuma

Snack - apple

Lunch - massive flask of potato and leek soup

Dinner - sw spaghetti bolognase with chopped tomatoes/onion/ mushrooms/ pepper

So sorry to hear that :( I hope he pulls through!

What did you think of the potato and leek soup? I gave some to my dad and he loved it! I can't believe how creamy it tastes :)
 
Oh yes I must get my hands on that soup book :) definitely going to make soup for lunches during the week. Saw a nice one on the slimmingeats website, I think it's a curried parsnip one, might give that a go! Hope you have a mice weekend :)
 
Saturday 5th November - EE

B - 2 x white bread (10 syns), with egg and turkey rashers

L - 5 bean chilli (Weatherspoons) 6 syns with three vodka diet irn bru (7.5 syns)

D - chinese chow mein chicken ate half (5 syns to be safe)

Sunday 7th November - EE

B - 2 x white bread and butter (15 syns)

Dinner - steak pie (5 syns pastry), with potatoes, carrots and turnip

Snack - mini snickers - 4.5 syns

Syns - 24.5 syns
Weekly - 57 syns


Saturday did quite a bit of walking about 2 hours also!

Monday 7th November - Red

trying a red day today so wish me luck going to try them to wi on wed!

B - 2 x small brown bread, dairlea triangle and ham

snack - bovril (its freezing with some melon)

L - made soup last night sounds rank but tastes good, 2 x chicken stock, cabbage, leeks, green pepper, courgette, turnip, carrot and chopped tomatoes with garlic/ chilli spice so massive bowl of this

Snack - bowl of two types of melon and curly wurly (6 syns)

Dinner - chicken with carrots/turnip and roasted veg of onion/pepper/ mushrooms going to have my 2nd hex b of potatoes with skin on too.

Snack - curly wurly (6 syns)

Supper - 2 x white warburtons bread and buttery with hex a cheese and chicken (15 syns)


Syns - 27 syns
Weekly - 84 syns

Ahh good to hear that he's pulling through :) My weekend was good, didn't do much really! It's sooooo cold out! I'm a primary school teacher and we had a week off last week for mid term, sooo hard to get outta bed this morning and back to work! I'm so glad I'm back though cos it means back into my routine :) Best of luck with the red days!!!

wish i had been good yesterday was start of star week and makes me crave bad things,

ended up eating two curly wurlys and 2 x white bread with marg opps! Still within weekly syns so should be ok.

Thanks dads best mate is now off life support :)

God i know im same on a monday struggle to get up!!

Day two being red day

L - soup same as yesterday and after 2 types melon

D - home made turkey burgers with turkey rasher on 2 x small brown bread sandwich with hex a x 1 cheese, with greek salad (Cabbage/pepper/onion/tuna) and home made coleslaw (2 syns for mayo for both greek salad and coleslaw)

Supper - melon x 2 types, strawberries and ff yoghurt

Syns - 2 syns
Weekly - 86 syns
 
Back to EE today as iv been starving past two days

Wed 9th November - EE

B - 2 x small brown bread, dairlea triangle and ham and an apple

L - sw spaghetti carbonara, with ham/chicken/mushrooms/peas and 2 types melon and strawberries

D - chicken curry with rice/syn free chips with peppers/mushrooms and onions (5 syns for sauce)

Snack - 2 x wafer snack (6 syns), curly wurly (6 syns)

Total syns - 17
Weekly - 104 syns

Back to a day without chocolate go me :)
