Kirsty, CONGRATULATIONS about the house, you must be so delighted!! Im over the moon for you - go on, tell us all about it - whats it like??? see, 2008 is ALREADY shaping up to be a much better year!!

Im sorry to hear about your little one. Ill be thinking about you all. To be honest, I know you hear stories in all directions but relations of ours had a little girl who didnt walk until she was 2 and a half and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her - she just couldnt have been bothered. Also, from what I have read etc.. there would be need for alot more concern if she wasnt developing verbally - the fact that shes babbling away and making her sounds is brilliant. They (the "experts") say that gross motor skills e.g. walking, cruising, sitting, standing have absolutely nothing to do with the intelligant of the child - that many times that they just dont want to and that speech development is the most important part.
