Kirsty's pregnancy and new Mummy diary- from 30 weeks onwards!

Have had a really busy few days and that'll continue for rest of the week as hubby is off work from tomorrow yay :D
Going to take Oliver swimming in the morning- can't wait, got him the cutest little pair of trunks :)

Been totally off plan all week so expecting a gain at WI tomorrow- scales are currently saying 1.5lbs on which I'd be quite happy with, considering what I've eaten!!!

Oliver has just finished going through a leap and it's been awful :-/
He was really clingy and crying for attention, not sleeping that well...
Thankfully last night he slept really well going from 8-10, milk, 10:45-3, milk, 4-7, milk and up for the day- would be happy with that every night!!
Plus he's much more settled today- I went outside to hang the washing out and he happily just played in his chair with his toys, yesterday he screamed and screamed and only stopped the second I reappeared in the room!
Looked at the app and it says the leap finished yesterday and that makes a lot of sense...
He can almost sit up unaided, hold his head up and he's almost there with the rolling onto his side from his front...
He laughed at hubby the other day and it was a proper laugh :)
Brought him some teething toys as he's coming up to 3 months old and I had a feel the other day and I can feel a tooth coming through...

Oliver had a play date with Grace yesterday :)
She's my friends daughter and she's 6 days younger :)
She's also half the size- at 9 weeks old she weighed 10lbs 8oz, Oliver weighed 14lbs 3oz at the same age!!!
And they've been lucky with Grace- she's slept through from 5 weeks old and currently sleeps 12 hours!!
Going to make it a regular play date :) :)
And that's all the latest news, will update with WI result tomorrow !! X

Gained 1.5lbs this week, much better than expected!

Took Oliver swimming this morning- he loved it!
In fact he only started crying cos it was lunchtime for him lol
He had lunch, fell asleep and is still asleep in his cot, been just under 2 hours, he's knackered!

Food started off good today but we had to pop into Waitrose for his nappies on way home and ended up with a few treats!!
Still I'm enjoying having my hubby at home, it's lovely family time and I'm making the most of it :)

Here's me and Oliver having lunch after his swim:

Aw looks like he's conquered the world today ! Swimming everyday then! X
That's exactly what I said to my hubby earlier!!!

Yeh that he did!
Shall be taking him regularly from now on :) x

Glad swimming was a success. Bless him exhausted in his cot afterwards. Well done at weigh in, as you say it could have been worse. Sure you'll have it off in no time. Enjoy time off as a little family xx

Yeh I was worried he wouldn't sleep last night cos he slept so much during the day but he stuck to his little routine and slept 11-3, milk, 4-7, milk and now we're up for the day :)

Yeh I was expecting a lot worse... I did try yesterday but then my period came last night which suddenly explained y I've been so hungry and emotional last few days!!
Hubby goes back to work on Monday so I'll be back on plan from then and hope for a maintain or small gain next week....
Totally ok with it- will be cracking on with it after this weekend is over, as nothing is my way until our holiday at the end of September :)

Yesterday was fab and to top it all off, Oliver sat up last night whilst watching tv :) :)
And this morning he's being all cheeky and happy :) :)
Xx

Busy weekend!
And a bad one, food wise... Scales currently saying 3lbs on ouch!
Apart from seeing a friend today (so it may entail cake lol) I've got nothing happening to get in the way until WI so hoping I can minimise the gain as much as possible...
I need to get back on plan- we go on holiday in just over 5 weeks and I want my stone award and maybe a bit more!

Tomorrow Oliver will be 12 weeks old, which means his jabs :(
Can't believe where the time is going, it's pretty mad...

Yesterday he had a couple of naps in his cot and did well, sleeping 40 mins and then 30 mins later on...

Some of the latest pics, including one of my boys in their matching work shirts :) Oliver in his cot and my gorgeous Penny protecting Oliver by planting herself in front of his Moses basket :)

A lot of that will be bloat so don't panic. As long as you enjoyed your self.

Good luck with injections tomorrow :( doesn't seem long when he had his first lot.

Glad Oliver is sleeping well in his cot. We did day naps in there first to help Oliver get used to it.

Love the photos x

I'm not too bothered about it cos I've had such a lovely time with my little family :)

Thanks I'm hoping he'll be ok like last time, all it took was some Calpol and cuddles :)

He's up in his cot now, we really struggled at first but he's getting used to it now and seems ok... Going to start doing it at night very soon...

Thanks, I may be sleep deprived etc but I couldn't be happier with my little family :) xx

12 week jabs done, was rather grumpy but that was down to a stinky nappy.
He's just had lunch and is quite happy giggling away (I did give him some Calpol as his temp was high!)
Last night he slept in his cot for the first time and it was a success!
Bed at 9, woke at 11 for milk, took all 7oz and fall back to sleep, then slept until 4 :)
Milk, back asleep by 4:30 and asleep until 8:30 :)
This is the face I was greeted with this morning :)
