Lazy garlic / lazy ginger etc

When the recipe requires marinating , I'm I ok to use the lazy stuff. I always have it in , or does need to be fresh ? Thanks

You need to syn it. It's 1 Syn per tsp.

Does the garlic have oil or something then? I have the ginger and its just chopped fresh ginger in vinegar.
Edit; checked the very lazy website and its all just in vinegar (except the caramelised onion) so the others should be free

The jars are free, the paste is syned
