Lea's Weight Loss Journey - Cannot believe WI today...

Yeah, I think I am back on track but allowing the odd treat here and there. I don't need to hardcore diet now so i need to re-introduce treats etc as that will be my 'real' life. I have been good all week with my food choices though so I am hopeful for Monday. I have not stepped on the scales once this week (last week it was virtually everyday!) because I want to see a nice loss on Monday and I don't want to lose motivation.

I have a friends 30th birthday tonight so today is going to be a bit of a challenge. There is going to be a buffet.....and I love buffet's. However, I am going to have some restrain. Mind you, there is nothing more embarassing than filling up your plate / seconds at someone elses party so I should be ok. Need to make sure I leave points for a bit of cake and some wine. I need a really low point dinner....but one that is filling. Any ideas? Oh and I don't like veggies so stir frys are out of it. I like pasta so maybe a pasta dish? What do you think?

Hope you have a great time at the party,i would try with the 0 point soups during the day today and very low foods then more you can ave tonight.

Thanks Gem..only trouble is..I have none! and no ingredients lol! I can definitely manage low point foods though ;)
 
Hmmmm - such a shame u dont like veggies as I could fill you up for no points! Hmmmm :(

Just over 4 months Suz. I was averaging 5lbs a month (except the first one which was 10). I hope to shed last 7 lbs before i reach 6 months.

Really looking forward to tonight. I have been good today - only had brekkie and some toast (7 points) so have 17 points to use up tonight :D I will still try to be somewhat good but I will also have a good time :D

I am going to wear my new size 12 skirt that is a perfect fit (actually has some room in it!) :D

oh if i could do something like that it would be brilliant! the last time i did ww on my own an lost 7lbs i really noticed a difference so i bet it was rewarding for you loosing 5lbs a month :)

Yes! I had a really good night. I ate slightly too much which was probably a result of the 3 glasses of wine i had....oopps! Oh well. It was a fab night. I have got a few pics and will try and put a couple up later.

WI tomorrow....I was feeling really positive but now I'm afraid I have ruined it after last night. I did not go massively over the top but still more than I would have liked:

1 small stak pasty
3 mini sausage roll
1 tiny sausage
Handful of baked crisps
3 chicken goujons
1/4 quiche lorraine
3 glasses of wine

ooopppps!
 
Glad you had a good time. I think it's really good that you get to go out & enjoy yourself, to keep the weight off long term you need to be able to do that & then get back on track so put it down as a life lesson & as a result don't feel bad about eating/drinking more than you had planned :D
