Thanks!

Hi

Read your earlier thread and looked you out. Hope you don't mind.

Have you had any snacks? as if not I would say that you are not eating enough. I eat loads during the day.

I have just come back to doing SW after not doing it for 18 months and I love the EE as you can eat so much. I used to only do Red days and not eat any carbs.

Today so far i have had:

half a grapefruit
2 x eggs scrambled with smoked salmon
grated apple and fat free yogurt

carrots, celery, 2 x satsuma, cut up melon and 2 x aplen light bars for snacks

soup made from tin baked beans, tin tomatoes, and tin carrots plus a yogurt.

I am now stuffed!

I have lost 5lb in two weeks doing EE.

Of course I don't mind, I really want any input to help me along!

i still find it hard to snack on fruit/veg as when I'm peckish fruit doesn't really cut it. I've tried buying cooked meat for snacks but it gets soooo expensive! I made up some soup a couple of weeks ago that was lovely but it made me really (ahem) windy. I may have been with hubs 11 years but I still don't let rip in front of him so that made for some uncomfortable times lol!
I need to train myself to snack on fruit and veg more don't I?

And we'll done on your weight loss so far! That's brilliant!

You could try making vegetable muffins:

What ever veg you fancy - fry it off till is just about cooked

whisk up some eggs and season, mix in the veg and pore into muffin tins

Cook in the oven till risen and golden brown.

If I have any left over mash I put that in the bottom on the muffin tins before poring the egg mixture in.

(just remember to spray the muffin tin with frylight first!)

LOL I have the same problem when I make veg soup, but after 20 years of marriage and the effects he can produce, what the hell! better out than in as they say!

(charcoal tablets from the health food shop can relieve the discomfort and the majority of the effect of veg soup!)

some of the mug shots are free and fat free super noodles if you get really peckish.

Thanks, I will definitely try the muffins...I sometimes make the SW quiche that has cottage cheese in it but find that can be really wet...the water drips out loads so these should be more dry :)

i might just try the charcoal tablets but all I can think of is the charcoal biscuits we get for the dog sometimes!

Argh, we'll that was meant to be in the first post....I'm not used to the app but not sure how else to upload photos.

How does day 1 look? I think I could do with some more fruit perhaps ? I'm going shopping tomorrow so can stock up.

Now I just need to keep out the biscuit tin until bedtime!

Friday 8th Feb - day 2 of EE

Well, I think yesterday went ok. I need to go shopping today and I am sat here trying to plan but I'm struggling. I'd still like to avoid bread as much as possible (which I have to anyway if I want to have my biscuits as my B) but it just makes lunch planning seem a chore. Hubs and the kids love toast for breakfast and sandwiches, crisps etc for lunch and normally by time I have made their lunches (at the weekends I mean) I almost can't be bothered to make my own. I'm not a big fan of mugshots and cous cous with salad is just meeeeh so I really need to start thinking. I'm pretty sure if I could get the planning sorted I would do so much better....picking because I am hungry is my major downfall. I often get home from the supermarket, put everything away then wonder what I have actually bought for me to eat.

Anyway....

Breakfast:
cup of tea (part of HEXA)
Harvest moon bar (half a HEXB)

Lunch:
busy when I got back from the supermarket so I just munched on half a dozen grapes and a few mini pickled onions

So, it's the end of day 2 on EE...I've only had 1 proper meal today so my snacking still isn't under control. I haven't even looked at the biscuit tin though so that. My tea was aaaaamazing and ready in 5 mins flat so it's definitely something I will have again ....perfect for when hubs is away and by being so quick to make it doesn't give me chance to raid the fridge, hurrah!

I wish I could get away with not having hot cross buns in the house but hubs loves them so I'm going to have to try harder to avoid them (waaaah, I love them too)

So hubs is decorating and wanted me and the kids out of the house. We went into town and then I realised none of us had had lunch. We went to Marks and Spencer's and t went a bit wrong. My little girl decided she didn't like her toastie and so I ate it. Argh! It was a tiny kids one though so I'm going to say that it used my A and B... There couldn't have been more than that in it as it was soooo tiny!

We haven't managed to play a game since Christmas, it's been called off every week!
My daughter is 3 and she wants to start ballet now...not sure how I am going to manage it, I'm the secretary of my sons team so need to be there but obviously have to let my daughter have a hobby too. Football is already 3 days a week (and more for me when I have to do subs/go to meetings etc) so it's lucky I don't have my own social life as I won't have time after football and dancing lol! You'd think I wouldn't have the time to eat too much!!!
