Little help please people.....

Hi, i have started cal counting the past week and finding it ok as everything has cals on the packet. But i just wanted 2 check im doing it right by only counting the cals in everything, not the sat fat, fat or anythinf else....???:confused:???
Im sticking to 100-1500 cals a day, as i wanna loose 2stone a.s.a.p! is this a good starting point or should i drop more cals? i also bought a cross trainer which im trying 2 do 10mins each day....trying 2 do more but its so hard :-( hehe!

Any tips or support i would be very gratful....i really need 2 shift this weight!!

Hey Princess! You're right to watch the saturated fat amount as well as calories.....some people dont realise that something that can be low in cals may be high in sat fat (the bad fat!) Daily guidlines show that a womans sat fat amount is 20g....but because im calorie counting i make sure i have around 1000-1400 cals a day....but ill never go above 15g sat fat either!!

If you dont have enough calories then you may find your weight loss will stop as your body goes into starvation mode so 1000-1500cal should be fine and you'll soon see the weight drop off....especially using the cross trainer!! Ive got one at home too but am constantly on it at the gym....a lot kinder to my creaky joints!!

Thanks 4 replying, i thought i would have 2 look at the sat fat aswel....so if i stick to 15g of sat fat a day ill b ok? i weighed myself 2day and 3lbs off whoooo!!!:D so im pleased, i must be doing something right hehe! thanks again x
Wow! Well done on the weight loss!! :) Well ive guessed that 15g should be about right because you're dropping it by a quarter of the daily recommended amount! Its obviously doing the trick anyway!! Congrats again!! :) x
