LL book/homework?

I'm curious. I only had my first "proper" group session last Friday so it's early days, but I've heard a lot of talk of the LL Book and homework. My LLC hasn't mentioned any of this to us yet. Do groups do different activities? How does it work in your group?

In our group we started off following the LL book, week by week we'd do the activities, then get set 'homework' to do for the next week. It wasn't absolutely compulsory but most weeks we did it. Then people started missing weeks, going on holiday etc. so we started to veer away from the book and do other stuff instead! Our LLC has a big flip pad with notes for each week so we tend to talk through them, then discuss our feelings (sounds cheesy I know!) but if anyone has had a bad week or in some cases a good week we discuss that as well.

Now our group is in Developers there are these new 4 week module books, I started week 1 then missed a meeting so not sure how much the group has stuck to the book. But from the beginning we've had quite a mix of activities, from working in pairs and writing down positive strokes for each other....to arts and crafts where we had to draw a picture of our old life and our new life! I love it :)
