I went to our local counsellor for LL last year.

I want to go back but she has now given up doing it and the postcode link on the LL website is down.

I was wondering if there was anyone in the LS29 area of Yorkshire who may be able to point me in the direction of a new counsellor?

I have mislaid the letter LL sent me detailing local counsellors in place of my old one.

Thanks xx

Hi again! I had a go and am able to get on the site - here are three LLC's in your post code area, according to the search. No tele numbers listed though, but at least you know there are some out there. :)

I qualified as a LighterLife Counsellor in 2005 and practise in Shipley.

Before becoming a LighterLife Counsellor I worked in the medical sector and was also a counsellor for a local charity.

As well as holding a BTEC professional Diploma in Operating a Weight Management Consultancy my qualifications include an adult education teaching certificate and I utilise these qualifications to guide my clients throughout their weight-loss and weight-management journey.

The LighterLife Programme is very powerful as it helps you to understand why you overeat, which is the key to lasting weight-loss success and I really enjoy seeing the increased confidence and pride that my clients experience as they lose weight and learn how to keep it off for good.

BD23 2PB I qualified as a LighterLife Counsellor in 2006 and practise in Skipton.

Before becoming a LighterLife Counsellor I was a Social Worker and I decided to become a Counsellor as I needed a change in direction and wanted to combine my interest in nutrition with my experience working with people to achieve their goals.

As well as holding a BTEC professional Certificate in Operating a Weight Management Consultancy I have Teaching and Social Work qualifications as well as experience and training in Counselling Skills.

The best thing about being a Counsellor is seeing my clients change each week -

LS18 4QD I qualified as a LighterLife Counsellor in 2006 and practise in Pudsey.

Before becoming a LighterLife Counsellor I worked as a Behavioural and Learning Support Worker. I was inspired to become a Counsellor after losing almost 11 stone on the LighterLife Programme, as I wanted to share this amazing programme with other men and women!

My training and qualifications include a degree in Psychology and further diplomas in Cognitive and Social Psychology. I understand just how difficult it can be to lose a significant amount of weight and so I support my clients on every step of their weight-loss journey.

Working with people to achieve such amazing weight-loss success and maintain these results makes this a fantastic and rewarding job.
