Lost & Found... Map Gone AWOL!

Cross posted with you Sleepy. From my viewpoint, it was 6 weeks of wobbles... not continuous, but more wobbles than good days for sure. But your post makes me see that it's not as bad as I have painted it... gonna be positive as you & others have told me and give myself credit for still being here. Because I came pretty close to chucking it all in, and I didn't, couldn't, won't.

Hugs Sleepy.

Hugs back atcha Katy.

What biscuits dont you like? Get those ones.
There must be some you dont like....me its coconut rings. Eww x

Katy you are doing great. So proud of you for getting through the tough times. :happy096:

Not like biscuits? Are you kidding? Well, suppose I am not mad on fig rolls (is anyone?). Or those garibaldi things... fly cemeteries. Actually in truth I am not mad on any biccies apart from shortbread and also those very expensive 'luxury' type ones, but like them or not, they are so easy to eat. If I am eating biscuits I am generally in a bad place. Sigh! Biccies are in tin, tin on top of cupboard, where I have to stand on tiptoe to reach it.

Crossed with you Dis. Thanks hon... early days but every day is a step towards a safer place. I will get there, promise!

Yes me, I love them!!
So glad to see that you are feeling better Katy, to come through a bad patch and and still be determined is fantastic, well done you. This thread will help a lot of us if/when things get rough.

We always knew you'd get there. It was Katy that needed to believe it too. Happy day four to you x

Thanks Laura. Day 4... and tipping down with rain. Know what I thought? 'What about my dog walk?' That has to be a first! (Usually think, yay, rain, better stay snuggled up inside...) So better think of how to get a walk where it's a bit sheltered, or else hope rain eases off later. 40 mins exercise is going to be a part of my 'normal' days from now on. So... raring to go!

Go for it Katy. FWIW, I love running in the rain. It makes me very happy. Of course, the weird looks I get from people are also quite amusing. And once you are wet, you are wet. It's just tough when it's really windy and wet.

I hereby bequeath my fig roll supplies to you & Bess. (Remind me never to come for a coffee at your place!) Any takers for the fly cemeteries then? No? Thought not!!!!

By the way, you make me laugh too, Jelly T, that avatar.... you could take someone's eye out with those - erm- y'know - well, let's just leave it there. Lol! xxx

But the best ones of all are those expensive dark chocolate covered ginger ones, with bits of ginger in them. Oh yum. Good job there are hard to find and so dear. ..............I havent had a biscuit for months, just realised.
I've even been saving a really lovely bottle of red wine someone gave me to celebrate the end of the diet. Still, it'll keep!

Oy, save some fig rolls for me...i love 'em! And i like garibaldi biscuits too. Hey, im weird but I can live with that!
Thing is, if im in a binge mood, i will even eat stuff i dont really like just because its there and serves a purpose. Maybe not coconut rings tho...yuck yuck yuck.
Hope everyone has a great day! xx

Coconut - yuk

Chocolate digestives - yum.

Crumbs, we'd better stop this!:8855:

Lol, I agree. Dangerous talk!

(Ps, rich tea are my favourite biscuits...shhh!) x

Eek.... Virtual binge!!!

Gotta be a website idea there somewhere. I have an even better idea... abolish all biccies except for fig rolls and garibaldi, and THEN I will be slim! (Abolish bread, jam, peanut butter, oatcakes, cake of all kinds, chocolate, pasta, cheese.... just off to have a word with Gordon Brown.)

Katy, YOU'D be slim but I would be stuffed. Literally!
I had poached eggs on toast for breakfast so still feeling pleasantly full and not tempted by any biscuits.
Just did my calorie intake thinghy (BMR?) online to see how many calories I need to maintain this weight and its more than I thought.
How nice! Means I can eat lovely dinners without worrying too much. Healthy dinners I mean, but you know what I mean. I hope! lol!
God, I need to get some sleep!!
Aaagh!! x

Poached eggs sounds like a great plan for lunch! Yay.

My BMR was less than I hoped, but I'm pretty sedentary when working from home... sit on bum with laptop. Hence the plan to start some exercise, much-talked about and rarely put into practice! That should give me a bit more 'credit'.

Hehe Katy my aviatar is just like me. I can kind of do that with my boobies (when i'm drunk) and i've got hairy legs lol.
Going to have a look at my BMR now. The diet i'm on says 2200 but what the betting its less. :sigh:
Sleepy go to bed lovely, after a night shift! Minimins is just far too interesting;)

P.S don't buy the green and blacks shortbread biscuits what a let down:cry:.... just ask sleepy x

EEK, had a pal who could do that too, as a kind of party trick (when drunk funnily enough!). Deeply scary. We were all much younger - don't think she'd do it now! (At least not in public!) I have the hairy legs though. Well, tis practically winter, why not?

So what's the story with Green & Blacks shortbread? I know everyone loves G&B choc but it's too 'good' for me - prefer cadbury's, or in a perfect world, Thorntons!
