Lost & Found... Map Gone AWOL!

Am OK, & ever hopeful for good day! I hate that it takes a while to get back to plan after a wobble, but it has to be done.

Sprouted wheat bread... I buy it from health shop & found one in Tesco deli section too. I don't know how it is done... but is meant to have more protein, and tastes sweet, which is the attraction. With peanut butter & mashed banana it is as good as a cake for me. Very heavy & dense so you don't need much of it, Sunnyvale is the brand the health shop do.

Onwards & upwards...

Good morning Katy. hope it's a really good day for you too. I think you are doing so well re maintenance, it's bound to have it's wobbles, life is full of wobbles l guess.
I'm feeling not so bad today, even did a little bit of work last night. My son is off school unwell, just about to take him to the Dr. then he's going to his Gran's for a while as l've got to get into the office for a short while to finish something off.

Hope your day is going well, too, Dis.

I am feeling very hungry, but suppose that is normal after a few off-plan days. I am OK so far. I have to hang on to this and keep under my 1200 cals today... chucking down so no chance of a walk to claw back some extra cals. Bah!

Walk/canter up and down your stairs a few times Katy, there is a box for stair climbing in the exercise bit of DT...i found it!
I have been christmas shopping in a gale and have one massive bicep from carrying all my bags on one arm and trying to keep hold of my brolly with the other. Met with my hubby for dinner and had a granary wiltshire ham salad sandwich and tea, gods knows how many calories that was so have had to guestimate on DT and have erred on the side of caution. I have enough calories to finish off the rest of my purple soup for tea tho! Keep at it, lovely x

Have survived this far on sprouts and feta... and still have a miraculous 575 cals left for tea. Alleluia.

Sleepy, not trying to make excuses... but I live in a single storey cottage, no stairs! Maybe I can run up and down the hallway instead... lol.

Off to see mum & fetch son & g/friend back...

Underwater here today... a national weather warning for Galloway... sigh.

Yesterday was good, I ended up almost 200 under cals. That was fine, may help to balance the excesses earlier in week. I did try checking what foods I could have to get up to 1200 (even checked a green & blacks bar, but at 500+ cals soon dismissed it) and in the end was full so didn't eat anything else. Long may it last. Just feel so happy that the hormone monster has let go of me... want to get back in a routine. Starting the day with porridge, hope everyone else is good too...

Morning hunny!
yay you for great day yesterday! mmm g&b will definitely be on my xmas shopping list this year!

have a lovely, hopefully not too wet day!

xx

Morning Katy, I hope the weather passes you by without too much damage.
I also have had porridge today, definitely the weather for it!
A couple of times I have been under my calorie allowance (not majorly so) and have thought, "hmmm...what else can I have?" and then stopped and thought about the fact I wasn't hungry and there was no point eating for the sake of it. Maybe i'm finally getting it!
I might have exceeded my calories by about 100 cal yesterday, hard to be exact with shop made sandwich with no packaging but still no more than 1300 cals in total. Either going to make soup for dinner or have chicken. Not sure yet! Anyway, have a good one xx

Hugs Katy, glad the hormone monster has let you go! xx

Hi Katy, hope the weather in Galloway has calmed down, it's windy & raining here in Ayr today. My son is still off school. Took him to the doctor's yesterday. I'm feeling kind of yucky & tired myself, not in pain anymore though.

Hope you have a good day foodwise & otherwise. :)

Hi Bess & Dis... still majorly stormy here, think we will get floods as the ground has had so much rain lately it cannot hold any more... but yes, at least I am warm and cosy (wood fire again) and feeling a little less frantic.

Dis, we just got a letter from director of public health to say 'we can no longer stop the spread of swine flu in the area' eek & saying is anyone is ill, keep them off school and don't bother going to the doctor unless your leg is hanging off... bit alarming! Hope you & your son stay snuggled up warm today, and take it easy.

Katy, my son is to see the nurse this afternoon about having the seasonal flu vaccination & is also to have the swine flu vaccination next Tuesday, (1/2 dose then & again in a couple of weeks) as he is considered to be in an at risk group due to other health problems. At first my husband & l weren't sure whether he should have these (as he's only age 6), but the doctors have stressed they really would recommend it for him, so we looked into it more and have decided to go ahead, sometimes it's hard knowing what to do for the best, especially when it comes to children. There are lots of children off school in this area at the moment.

Edit - he didn't get the flu vaccination today afterall as the nurse & doctor thought he wasn't well enough.

Hi hun, amazing how different you can feel minus the whole pmt thing! Looking good on the food front (seriously, - 500cals for green and blacks, that is just so not fair......major tantrum in anticipation of never allowing myself such indulgence!;)) xx

So funny, because when not in binge mode I would never go near a bar of chocolate now... it doesn't seem worth it in any way! So choc craving should be a warning for me I guess.

Today am in a pickle, cut off and unable as yet to get to NE England where I am scheduled to be later and tomorrow. Trains not yet running, and no buses, and roads flooded in a whole bunch of places. Hoping to get thru later and get there before midnight if possible!

Food so far, porridge & a coffee flavoured with a random toffee & walnut shake I found.

Pitta for lunch I think.

Hope those waters recede or I will be letting a lot of people down tomorrow and feeling very bad about it... anyone got a canoe I can borrow?

xxx

Hey Katy, hope the waters subsided and you managed to get out (no canoe here). It has been horrendous weather for some places, feel lucky it hasn't got here yet (scheduled for lunchtime).

Have a good weekend wherever you are!!!

Katy, hope you were able to go ahead with things as planned, but if you couldn't make it l'm sure people would understand as it was unavoidable due to the weather. It's really bad here in Ayr today, but we're luckier than a lot of places.

Hope where your other blog readers are isn't badly affected. Take care everyone.

Hi Katy - Hopefully the weather fairies are kind to you and you've made your destination. I've been following the floods on the news - it's really horrendous!

You're doing so well again! Seriously though, how do you manage to be 200 cals under when you only have 1200 to play with? I'm impressed with myself if I have 10 cals to spare. Most of the time though I'm hovering near 1300...Oh and you could have had just a couple of squares of the G&B chocolate! :D:D:D That's what my DH tells me regulary - silly man! An open bar of chocolate is as good as eaten!:17729:

Have a lovely (and hopefully not too wet) weekend!
