Lost & Found... Map Gone AWOL!

Thanks all. Made it out... it was a real adventure, involving me getting a lift in back of delivery truck & a long detour to past the first town where I could pick up a bus to Dumfries. Dumfries was gridlocked as only one bridge working but got off then & walked to station & luckily trains were running east by then. So got to destination about nine. Missed the business dinner (not worried, had M&S salad on train & was within cals) but did the important events yesterday & made it home safely before midnight.

The stress caught up with me on the three-train journey home, travelling on sat night on cattle-truck trains is no fun... so overcrowded and a lot of drunks, anyway no excuse... ate a cheese pasty and a snickers bar. So I was at LEAST 1000 over cals yesterday, but so tired, hungry, coffee-hyper and fed up... today will be fine.

Wow, certainly an adventure there Katy, many people would've said "nope, too difficult" and stayed at home!! Pleased you got to fulfil our commitments and you got home safe and sound.

Enjoy your day at home and I hope the weather is good to you today x

Hmmm. Chucking down as I type... but hey. Am home, and safe, and dry... hope things are OK for everyone else, glad none of us are in cumbria where it looks worse than here.

Glad your home safe and took the train rather than the boat. Sounds like you are still doing great even with the odd pastry and snicker.

Im just working the courage up to ring my CDC again, as this stone is still hanging around, feel mrs mitchell man at the mo. lol

Hope you have a good day x

Good to hear from you Miss JT... Lelly on here has just gone back down to 810 and had good results so far... might be worth a try for you? I am trying endlessly to shift 7lbs, up & down... sigh. But we will get there in the end!

Have a good sunday hun and hope you're not flooded down there....

Katy, what a journey you had! Says a lot about you that you were so determined to try and get there. :happy096: I'm sure everyone appreciated it, even though they probably didn't know the details of your journey/adventure.
Foodwise you coped pretty well, better than l would have.

today will be fine.
I like how you put that at the end. Even after a day that you don't think was so good foodwise you are able to put it behind you and move forward. :winner:

Congrats on getting home safely -- and just get back on plan... I am sure the stress of yesterday waranted a few extra calories. You can compensate by shaving a few off each day until you weigh.

How are you Katy? Thanks for your support the other day when I was struggling! It's so lovely to know that we're all in this together through the ups and (for me, too many) downs ;)

Morning Katy, hoping all is good with you and you haven't been blown away. It is very quiet on the boards at the moment, hope you are snuggled up warm and have a good weekend. x
