Lots to loose!

Hi I have at finally started what I have been putting off for years, the massive task of loosing many stones. I was horrified to find I had steadily put on a stone a year for the last few years and am tipping the scales at 122 kg. I have downloaded a diet app for the iPad which seems to resemble ww, it has given me 37 daily points with most fruit and veg free which i think is too many so am trying to not use the extra weekly points( maybe the high points is because of the high starting weight any advice would be very kind ) I have been doing some research and advice seems to be not to over eat on the fruit and veg, which makes sense as they too have calories. Good news though 2 kg lost in week one, I must keep it up and hope that you like minded people will keep me on track, especially with a wedding coming up next weekend.
