Oooh good idea!

I made these last night - they went down a storm even with those not on SW!

Bump

I tried my hand at making these again today :-D

I followed the recipe properly this time, I used 2 hazelnut options as they didn't have any of the indulgent ones mixed with the 113g quark and 50g melted dark chocolate drops. Instead of coating them in choc sprinkles(as I don't like them) I have rolled them in cadburys chocolate powder which I found in Tesco in a tub and it says it is for sprinkling on cakes or hot drinks and was only 1 syn for 5grams which was enough.

They have a nice hazelnut taste but in my opinion they do have a taste like chocolate phildelphia...that soft cheese twang, if you know what I mean!

Definitely a good choc fix though, mine work out at 1 syn each and I have already eaten 7!!

Makes 20.
Syns for whole batch 24.5
2.5 syns for 2 truffles.

50g dark chocolate chips
113g quark
2 options indulgence sachets (any flavour)
28g chocolate sprinkles

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about a minute, then stir until smooth.

Beat the quark until creamy. Add the chocolate and mix well.

Add the options indulgence sachets and mix

Using a teaspoon, make 20 blobs onto some greaseproof paper and put in the fridge to harden slightly. (About 20 minutes).

Remove from the fridge, and roll into balls with the palms of your hands.

Roll truffles in the chocolate sprinkles and put back in the fridge to set overnight. Once set store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to eat.

I took these to class last night and they went down a storm! All I did was search for low fat truffles then changed a few ingredients to SW friendly ingredients!

Gonna make these again. Got a tasting on Monday. Think they will like these.
