Loz will lose!

    Hi all!

    so i just started Exante today (i got the ******* code and ordered the 2 week package) and thought i'd introduce myself and my dieting life!

    i'm 35 this year and have a great hubby and little girl but one thing i cant get right is my diet.

    my 20's flew by and depsite all the fun stuff i got up to my weight always sat between 11 and 12 stone. i've never been skinny but at that weight i was a 12/14 and happy.

    then i got pregnant at 29 and the day i gave birth i weighed 16st 10lb, this was 3 years ago and despite getting down to 13 stone for my wedding a year ago (with the help of cambridge) i've never been able to get back down to my normal weight - or maintain it i just keep shooting up further and futher.

    i really want to have another baby this year and i want to get down to 12stone so i can make this happen (unfortunately we lost a baby at a really late stage in the pregnancy and i keep thinking if only i could have been a bit lighter/fitter/healthier - even know i know this had nothing to do with our loss)

    so here i am - AGAIN!! 16st 10lb the same weight as when i gave bith years ago! and this time i am going to do it - if only for the fact i now have clothes in my wardrobe ranging from size 10 to size 22!!!

    so there are going to be things that crop up on the way and i have made plans for these, i have a holiday booked for the end of may and i wont be doing this diet then and before that 5 social occasions i've already signed up too and cant get out of, so the plan is stick to exante 100%, on the social occasions let myself drink (no wine - i love wine!!! just vodka and slimline) and then eat what i want within reason and then the next day straight back on it. if i can go on holiday as close to 12 stone as possible i will be a relaly happy girl!

    Day 1
    Brekkie was porridge - did not like this at all but managed it! need to play around with consistancy a bit i think! becasue i ordered the ******* pack there wasnt much choice so i have another 7 of these to try!!

    2 big glasses of water downa dn so far not hungry at all!

    ha ha just realised they star out the name of the discount website i brought this pack from!

    Hi Loz and welcome aboard :)

    I can so relate to the size 10 to size 22 wardrobe!! Looks like we have roughly the same journey ahead of us.. Today is day 7 for me.

    I've done LL and Cambridge in the past but this is my first time on exante and to be honest I'm finding the packs a lot nicer than the ones on LL & C.. The porridge takes a bit of tweaking I think. Personally it's a bit too bitter for me so I add a sweetener when making it up and that takes the edge off.

    Oh same goal and similar weight! Have you had your first weigh in yet? Hope it was/is a good number for you!

    Welcome Loz and good luck on your start. Sounds like you've planned ahead a bit and know what to expect re socialising etc. So long as it's not an excuse to eat before and after (coz I've been there more times than I care to remember) it doesn't do too much damage. Good luck :)

    so 1st drama! My microwave exploded tonight!! So I had a tiny chicken breast and 2 pieces of broccoli! Need a new one now! Could have had a shake for dinner but needed something warm!

    woo hoo - day 2!!!
    so yesterday not a great success to starting but better than i have been for the last 6 months...

    i ended up having
    Brekkie - exante porridge
    Lunch - black coffee and 2 sweetners (are sweetners ok to have in coffee?)(need to plan and take a shake/soup sachet out with me)
    Dinner - tiny chicken breast, 2 pieces of broccoli
    tons of water!

    so today!
    brekkie - vanilla shake with 2 teaspoons of coffee - i think i need to make the shakes up with about 400ml of water as 200 was way to thick for me - had to force it down a bit!
    lunch - am planning on a choccy shake or veggie soup
    dinner - another soup or shake as still no microwave or might make the apple and cinnamon porridge into biscuits

    deal i got was really good but there are a lot of only a few flavours if that make sense - glad i only went for the 2 week option!

    Sounds like you have a solid plan for achieving your weight loss Loz. Although we are all on the same diet we still need to find ways that will make it easier to stick to it. There are quite a lot of different packs to choose from so you should find something you like. Hope your day goes well x

    So day 2 and I am starving!!!! Enjoyed the veggie soup tho so that's a bonus! The biscuits were pretty bad but might need to play around with those as well!

    am soooooooooooooooooo hungry!!!!!! Help help!!! Had a bath and a peppermint tea! I want to eat!

    Hi Loz. I'm on my 4th day now and it has been easier - even though I do feel hungry now. Just going to have lots of green mint tea and hopefully it will subside. If not, it will be an early night.

    ok so had to weigh mysef this morning - i know i know silly loz but i had to see that the numbers were going down otherwise i was going to tuck into marmite on toast!!! but woo hoo looks like i've lost 3lb already - am v happy so starting today full of focus!

    had a vanilla shake witha spoonful of coffee and 400ml of water - much much nicer and i actually quite enjoyed it!

    got veggie soup again for lunch and then going to try the biscuits again (cant eat the porridge as it is!) or go crazy and have a choclate shake!

    making a veggie curry tonight for my little girl and hubby that will be a test!

    hope it got easier!

    i just cant wait for the day i stop dreaming about food!

    just need to focused my first planned day off is next saturday, then low carb on sunday as planning to have a bit of a hangover then straight back on it monday!

    So hungry today and I caved! Had some salmon and a coke zero was amazing! Am hoping all is okay by having this and will be straight back on 3 packs tomorrow!
