Lucky 13!

I'm on day 13. On day 1, I could just about squeeze myself in to my size 24 jeans. This morning I thought I'd try on my size 22 jeans just to see how far I needed to go before they fit...

I'm still wearing them now!!! They are snug but comfortable so all my size 24's are in the wash now ready to go to the charity shop tomorrow as I wont been needing them again :)

Day 13 and I've already dropped a size, how good is that!!!! :)

That is fantastic!

I started off in snug 24's, pushing 26 im now in 20's and cant wait for 18's!

It really does motivate you to carry on, especially if you can afford new clothes as you change sizes!

Well done! :D

Well done Anna!!

I was a size 24 too when I started CD and as I dropped sizes made sure I got rid of all my 'big' clothes as I shrunk out of them.

As I don't have any larger clothes now I know it would cost me a small fortune to restock my wardrobe if I put on the weight again. That's another good incentive to keep going .. and keep it off :)

Thanks everyone. I'm off shopping tomorrow as I need some new tops, I've got plenty of jeans & trowsers in smaller sizes but nothing else. I normally hate clothes shopping but this time it's going to be rather fun. I just want a few things, I'm not going crazy as I've not idea how long they will fit me for.

Well done on doing so well!

I love the fact that you are disposing of your big sizes so promptly. You're so right they are history! Someone else will find them useful and the charity shop will benefit. You are motivating others to start the diet by sharing this story. So you have many many reasons to be feeling so good.

Thanks for posting. Roll on the next dress size drop.

It's so great to finally appreciate what other people seem to enjoy so much isn't it? I always said I hated shopping but the truth was I just hated myself. Now I'm shopping every weekend and buying all sorts of clothes I never would have before (size 10 skinny jeans last weekend yay!! And wore a size 18 dress to regatta this year so I'm dead chuffed). Well done on your losses and keep at it - definitely best to chuck the old clothes I reckon. Really therapeutic as well.
