Hi im new to this website but ive been reading other diaries and forums on it for a while now.
anyway i thought id introduce myself, im Lucy and i have a 5 month old baby boy. before falling pregnant i was 14 stone 7 lbs, so already overweight, however after having my baby i was up to 16 stone 10 lbs, and its all stayed with me so far :p my aim is 12 stone 10 lbs, so i have 4 stone to lose!
today is day 12 on slim and save and so far so good! in my first week i lost 10lbs which was fab! i have been hopping on the scales all week which i no i shouldnt but i cant help myself. i havent really lost anything this week so far which is a bit gutting when you're sticking to it 100%, and im trying to avoid the scales until my weigh in on wednesday.

Hiya Lucy :) well done for your first weeks loss. Don't get disheartend by 2nd week honey it can vary with how much water you've managed to drink and TOTM don't forget affects that as well.

I find that doing measurements works really well also, because sometimes weight loss doesn't change but inches do :)

thanks lea, good idea with the measuring i bet it would be motivating to see a few inches disappear :) well done on your weight loss so far- how are you finding it? x

today is day 13 woop! last night i tried the lemon bar made into biscuits which tasted delish- esspecially with a cup of tea- really seemed like a treat.

did the new davina exercise video yesterday which was hard- feeling very achy today. going to go on just dance on the wii today and go for a nice walk with the pram (and the baby :p)
bit worried as people have said that shouldnt really exercise on a vlcd, but i dont do much else active during the day

going to enjoy a crispy choc shake for brunch :) xx
 
I still have days where I wanna eat everything in sight but now I do either a work out DVD or go out on my bike :)

I've been firmly back on track for a month and I've lost 15lbs in that time :) so it can be done. I'm on 3 meals and a bar a day :) which is working for me x x x
 
i think exercise is really good when your craving something- distracts you and makes you feel good lol

well done on your weightloss- its obviously working well for you. just noticed your ticker; congratulations are the upcoming wedding- do you have a goal for then? that must really motivate you :)

day 13 nearly over. had chocolate shake, chicken soup and macaroni (nom nom) and going to have truffa bar with a cup of tea soon.
weigh in day wednesday. really hoping for 4lbs to make it a stone in 2 weeks, but we'll see x

Lucy... yup the wedding is 9 weeks away ;) as of wednesday this week :D can't blooming wait and now its looking like I could be in the 14's :bliss:which I'm desperately trying to achieve!
I'm hoping that I can get there ... I'm so determind to be lower than I ever have been and fitter as well. I am finding that people are noticing more now with the weight loss I've got so that's boosting my confidence.

and Leah 9 weeks! eek thats not long you must be so excited! the 14's arent far away you can definately do it :D
people noticing must be really motivating - cant wait to get to that stage

day 14 woop! cant believe how quick its going. think ill have a vanilla caramel shake for brunch.

baby has his jabs today :eek: he wasnt too bad last time so hopefully he wont be too upset .... hopefully
its a nice walk to the doctors so at least ill get a bit of exercise x
 
Well done Lucy your doing fab :) I use the milk allowance with the shakes and they are easier to swallow after being on LT for so long kinda stick in ur throat!

9 weeks and counting and frantically trying everything I can to get to my personal goal of being 208lbs which is do able and would mean I will be lighter than I've been in YEARS! :D x x x
 
thanks lea you're doing awesome :) 208- thats 14st 12lb right? just keep going as you are and you'll have no problem getting there xx

took baby for his jabs- he was very brave only cried for a second. did some shopping and had to push the pram up several hills- i was exhausted when i got back but must of burnt some calories (cant wait till i can go for walks up hill with pram without getting out of breath)

weigh day tomorrow cant wait :D x

weigh in day was yesterday and i'd lost 4lbs! that makes 1 stone so far, happy with that :D thanks everyone x

computers broke so cant get on here too much which is annoying :(

11 stone is also my ultimate goal but seems so far away so my first goal is a bit higher- hope you enjoy slim and save xx
 
day 18 been 100% - cant believe ive lasted this long; starting to think i can actually do this!!

baby had been screaming for a while earlier and it really makes me want to make myself feel better with a nice cheese toastie- but ive settles for a vanilla caramel shake :p

had a quick look on the scales and the're 2lbs down from wednesday which is great- i really want to lose 7lbs every 2 weeks, but ill be happy with anything that heads me in the right direction :)
