Lulu's New Beginning - Diary

    Im Starting Day 2 today

    Yesterday I felt fine, even though I only had 1 1/2 hours sleep. I had a headache towards the end of the day but I am sure thats mainly due to lack of sleep aswell.

    The porridge is lovely, but I do really struggle to eat it all. I have really endevoured to make sure I eat it all but it is a struggle.

    I had the toffee Caramel Shake for lunch which was lovely! I cant believe how amazing it was. It really filled me up too.

    For Dinner I had the carbanara, as much as I would have liked a little more in it, putting a little bit of garlic salt with it just made it taste like it had come from a restaurant. I was a little hungry after this, but I had some earl gray tea - Black with no sweetener and that was a nice little drink to round everything off.

    This morning I am feeling tired and still really tired even though I had had an early bed time. The headache had stayed but I had some paracetamol to try and get rid of the ache... its not a really bad headache its just there. Hard to describe.

    I have also found I am stupidly thirsty today too. Has anyone else had that?

    Its a really hard day today due to the fact, as its valentines day, everyone at work has made cakes and cookies, Im not really that fussed which is really odd. I dont understand it considering I love cakes... well hopefully this meh attitude will stay and it will hopefully make enduring it that little bit easier.

    Ill write a little more this evening and see how it goes.

    Hi Guys, I was sure that I had posted a massive response, but it doesnt look like it posted it :(

    I had some really bad headaches, over the first 3 days or so. I was hungry but not too bad, but I was very tired. Still unsure whether that was just my body coping with lack of sleep on Wednesday.

    I like the porridge, but know Im in Ketosis now, and I am sure I am, I am barely hungry at all, I can barely eat it all, it stuffs me so much so I am thinking of splitting it, and have some later in the evening.

    Even now I miss food quite badly, I can sit there and watch people eat it, but I do miss it. I miss chicken nuggets and fish fingers :( More than anything. Sweet stuff doesnt bother me because I am finding most sachets are very sweet anyway.

    I tried the shepards pie and I wasnt overly impressed, good enough to eat with a little salt, but I dont think I would be getting it again. I absolutely love the spag bol. I could quite easily eat that every night.

    I also tried the Curry, now if it was with noodles, i think it would have been fine, but I wasnt that bothered by that either.

    I am really liking the shakes though, even the chocolate ones, which is wierd as I am not a big fan of chocolate shakes. I really like the Toffee Caramel one, reminds me of Angel delight.

    I wasnt greatly impressed with the Thai Soup either.. and I have still to try the rest of the soups. I never really liked soups but I thought this was a brilliant time to make myself eat them lol (not entirely sure that was a good idea.)

    I know that when I get my next batch I will probably get the bars for breakfast rather than the porridge, and more of the spag bol and I have heard the chilli is really good too, and more shakes too.

    My partner has hidden the scales from me so I cant tell. I feel like I am going to go insane if thursday doesnt turn up soon. I want to know how much I have lost!!!!

    I also see what people were saying, I never really liked Zero drinks as I thought they tasted really bland. I have had coke zero and a little of DR Pepper Zero (only one small glass) and they taste so sweet. What is that?

    Also I wanted to ask if you still get the hungry feeling every now and again? I get it in the morning before I have eaten (I find that I can have my breakfast at 11 because I cant eat anything until then) But then it goes again and its not a real hunger pang more of a niggly feeling. I guess I am still trying to get used to what my tummy is saying, whether it is actually hungry or just bored.

    I think that was it for now :)

    Just wanted to say I love the cyberdog goal. I sold a couple of my cyberdog tops in January because they didn't fit anymore and I should have totally held onto them because since starting Exante I've lost a stone in three weeks! Gives me an excuse to buy some more when I reach my goal weight I suppose :)

    Thanks demme. I have never actually been able to fit in them so its really a goal that I would love to wear them. Ive got alot of stuff that I have saved knowing that I will get back to what I was so its going to be fun to finally fit in them :)

    Today I've found out that Apoptygma Berzerk are playing Resistanz in Sheffield in April. I totally love them and they haven't played the uk in years so that's even more reason to lose weight and get back into some Cyberdog clothes before then :)

    Ok im crap at keeping a diary. Well I had my treat yesterday sausage bagette. It was beautiful! Even though its my low calorie week I had one shake after that and then the meal I should have had that night. My reason being is that the meal I have: One small burger with a mountain of lettuce and red pepper, has less than half the amount of carbs in than one of the pouches. My hope was to even out the carbs even slightly.

    I thought I wouldn't be in ketosis this morning. However I had a sneaky on the scales and I had dropped 3 lbs and still had that *lovely* taste in my mouth and still not hungry.... not entirely sure how I could have avoided it unless I just cant feel not being in ketosis anymore :S
