Macmillan Coffee and cake thursdays!

Hi, every week my colleagues and I have a cake and coffee at breaktime and one of themamde this DELICIOUS chocolate and beetroot cake.

How many syns should I allow for it? The ingredients are

• 50g bitter cocoa powder
  180g plain flour
  1½tsp baking powder
  Pinch of salt
  250g caster sugar
  300g cooked fresh beetroot
  3 eggs
  200ml corn oil
  1tsp vanilla extract

I had 28g of it. Any ideas, smart people?

  250g caster sugar (49 syns)
  300g cooked fresh beetroot (free)
  3 eggs (free)
  200ml corn oil (80 syns)
  1tsp vanilla extract (free)

I had 28g of it. Any ideas, smart people?

TOTAL = 170.5 syns for the whole cake
Divided by the number of slices

I had like 1/24 of the cake... It was split into 12 slices and 28g was under 1/2 of one of those slices! I think I'll count it as about 6...
