Thought I'd start a food diary and hoping it'll stop me doing stupid things like yesterday when I went out for a "few drinks" and used most of my weeklies :eek:

I'm doing it online and weigh in on a Thursday morning. And after blowing all my points yesterday I'm having to be extra good till next week. I only started a few weeks ago so still trying to get the hang of it.

I've had a bit of a hangover today so my food has been rubbish.

Breakfast

Red grape and Raspberry juice - 4pp

Lunch

Leftover chicken pakora - 16pp (not sure if that's a bit too much but would rather overpoint)
Can of full fat coke - 4pp

Dinner

2 Quorn sausages - 3pp
Gravy - 1pp
Veg - 0pp

Snacks

Velvet Crunch - 2pp
Dairylea Dunkers - 3pp
Pear - 0pp

This is not a typical day for me and I'll be back on it properly tomorrow! Meant to be going out tomorrow night but might take the car so I'm not tempted by the evil gin or eviller wine!

Exercise-wise I had started doing the 30 Day Shred but that fell by the wayside so I'm gonna start this again today or tomorrow. Not planning on using my activity points though as I did that last week and gained.

Butternut squash, beetroot, red onion with goat's cheese - 5pp

Will decide what to do with the extra 2 later.

Hoping to update this diary daily and knowing that it's out there for people to see will hopefully help me stay on track. This is the first time I have done WW. Previously I have used My Fitness Pal but I've found that I do really well and lose maybe half a stone and feel great and then don't stick to it. Determined to do it this time.

Off to have a nosy at some people's diaries.

I ended up having my dinner out last night along with 2 glasses of wine :( So the weeklies are definitely gone, and then some. But had fun!

Yup am also doing WW,on my 14th week,am enjoying it,still got a little way to go to get to goal but am determined to get there :0) sounds like a good day for you food wise.Am sure you will be fine by Thursdays wi :0)
 
Am sure you will lose on Thursday,thanks for having a look at my diary,yea still plenty of choice on WW,like you say,up to us to make those choices :0) the feast was worth it btw!
 
Still thinking about Feasts, Daisy! We made some ice lollies from Blueberry juice last night though so hopefully they'll be nice.

Will probably have one of those ice lollies later which is 1 or 2pp - will check.

At the moment I'm loving Quorn stuff. It was on offer recently and we got loads. If I have it with a sauce or gravy I can hardly tell the difference. Although don't think I could give up meat completely!

The roasted tomato soup is the first soup I have EVER made, and I'm 29, haha! I'm not a big soup fan but have to say it's pretty nice. Planning on trying a butternut squash soup later in the week. Off to look for recipes.

Hey I was in my 30s before I made my own soup lolYum to blueberry juice,that sounds really nice,have to let me know how the lollies turn out! I really like Quorn but the OH doesn't,am going to get myself some though as he doesn't like lasagne either lol and will make myself one then portion it and have it when I vist my family,used to do that before but used turkey mince.
 
That's a good idea, Daisy, never thought about a Quorn lasagna! I did make a spag bol with the Quorn mince once but think I prefer it with meat. But I got the Quorn Swedish "meat" balls and they're delicious! OH has used the chicken style pieces to make curries too and it's yum. I bought some Quorn rashers too - not tried them yet but not convinced they're gonna be anything like bacon. I'll report back on that!

For the ice lollies we used the Ocean Spray blueberry juice and it's 2pp for 200ml. Gonna have one for pudding and will let you know. Am actually wondering if you could make 0pp ice lollies with sugar free drinks. Diet coke ice lollies - YUM!

Ohh I like the sound of diet coke ice lollies.Ok bout the blueberry lollies,yea let me know.I will just get the mince for myself,never tried the rashers,hope they are nice.

The ice lolly was fab! Much better than just having a glass of juice. Will definitely try with Diet Coke sometime. I don't really drink it but do like the taste. I'll pluck up the courage to try the rashers, maybe at the weekend!

Where did you buy your ice Lolly containers from please? Good idea to try a mixture of flavours.Glad you enjoyed it.Ok bout the rashers :0)

Yeah I'm on WW I just love the propoints plan to me at times it's effortless and I never feel hungry xx
