Oh no Andrea. Hope it's better soon.
Your house must be really fun with only one pair on working arms between you and your husband.

Oh it's quite the scene! We try to avoid being seen in public together!

Two functioning right arms and no left arms make for some interesting challenges in lifting heavy objects, cutting meat, putting my hair up..,,!

Are you both right handed?! Cuz I'm sure it's a even more of a nightmare breaking your dominant arms?!
Do you mind if I ask how you both managed it?!
You don't have to answer, it is a bit nosey, but just curious =)

Well done on hitting target hayrae. And also Sentinel =)

1 hour 15 gym session this morning.
1 hour Zumba class this evening.

We're both right handed. No! I don't mind you asking - glad you're interested! LOL

Let's see, my husband broke his two weeks ago by playing basketball and forgetting that he is 15 years older than the boys he was playing with. He fell and broke his wrist and thumb - a pretty serious cast for that where he has no movement allowed in his thumb.

I, on the other hand, was returning from a business trip and was in the parking lot at Newark Airport when I fell over my luggage. I went to catch myself on the cement with outstretched arms and landed on my wrist/forearm. The impact ended up leading to a crack in my "radial head" - elbow. Mine is not nearly as bad as the splint came off and now I'm just in a sling. I have to wear that for three weeks and it really does feel tender. I'm very nervous moving around. So I've dropped exercise for a while aside from walking.

I have a very intense 6 weeks (school/work/home) and I'm in week #4 now. So I figure, once this professional insanity is over, I'll be ready to take the sling off and get back into exercising. But by then it's mid June so I'm kinda stuck! No June challenge for me!

70min walk yay need a higher goal next month

It's all going on where you are haha.
I hope you're both ok other than the broken arms, and at least it's your non dominants.
Hope you both recover soon, and as for no June challenge, starting mid June won't be a problem. Just set a lower goal and join us. Won't be the same without our leader! Haha

Well done everyone with their May challenge.
I'd really like to do a June one too.
And Andrea, whilst you're out with a broken arm, I hope you don't mind if I take charge of the June Challenge and you can have it back in July.
I just like having a goal to work towards.
So I'm going to go create one right now... feel free to join me guys =)

Oh no, it's find. I just posted on here because I hadn't looked first and I was eager to have one too.
You just beat me to it.
I'd been meaning to do it for the last day or so, but just got so caught up.
You've done a good job setting it up.
Well done
