Millys diary - time to get healthy

    Hello all,

    I have come back to Slimming World after a decade away! I was a member of WW for the last year but was not making healthy choices so I decided I needed a change.

    Well I have had a crap start due to my scales having lied to me for God knows how long:cry:
    I've bought some new ones tonight (WW ones) and they weigh me roughly a stone heavier than the old ones:cry::break_diet:
    Now I know that having weighed this evening instead of in the morning that will account for some of it but nowhere near a whole stones worth.:(

    So, I am going to have a brand new start tomorrow, weigh in on a Tuesday from now on and get a grip:rolleyes:

    I have lost weight with SW before but I can't seem to get the paranoia out of my head that all this pasta etc will make me gain more. Must stop it...I know it works!!

    Anyway tomorrow is a brand new start and I must stop feeling sorry for myself. I feel so guilty for moaning over this when there is such a heartbreaking thread elsewhere on the forum.

    Hey Millie, well done for taking charge!

    Dont feel guilty for having a moan, it gets it out of your system and that can only be a good thing! And trust in the plan, it DOES work, and you will soon remind yourself of the fact when you see those lbs dropping off.

    I'm having my first weigh in on Saturday. I am hoping for a lb or two but having signs of * week so if I can stay the same and stay on track I will be happy.

    I've resisted the urge to return the new scales in a strop:D After a day of sulking about it yesterday I am feeling ok today.

    Just read that it is 29 weeks til Christmas:eek: I may set myself a target of 3 and a half stone by then.

    I'm determined to make this day stay a happy day and I'm always happier when I stick to plan so...
