MINI GOAL: One weeks Physical Activity

I didnt read this thread at first because it said exercise. Well I have a stomach cruncher (or my daughter has) so i will give it a go and do 20 a day starting tomorrow. Still recovering from the dancing at the wedding, I can hardly walk:D

I also have an old fashioned trim wheel, bit like the hamsters one, which is brilliant for tightned all your core muscles, not sure if you can still get these, thats how old it is.

Hi Ladies

I am about a week ahead. How smug do I feel. I have been doing 30 mins on the treadmill every night and sometimes an hour. Then do 100 sit ups with the argos abciser or whatever it is called. I now just have to keep it up. But then I do not have a life at the mo :)

It really works well so well you have to be careful when you first use it as it can really hurt in places you never knew you had:character00238:

I got mine several years ago, read the instructions, do's and don'ts etc. Got started and all was going well until I overdid it (started getting a bit cocky if the truth be known:rolleyes:) and ended up with carpet burn on my nose:eek:

Believe it or not I am trying to start to run. Boy did I have a shock when I realised I could not even run for a minute. My bum seems to have a life of its own :D.
Think I should put a ticker up to track my progress with the running.

The start of the exercise was when I only lost half a pound in week 3 despite not cheating so I figured if I exercise it will come off alittle quicker and maybe even firm up some bits.

I have heard of some excuses for carpet burns but this takes the biscuit;)
 
At my age I miss my carpet burns, but perhaps its because we have laminate or wood floors now:D
 
Does count as exercise though just so we know we are not going off the topic:rotflmao:

The thought of laminate flooring well now....mmmm no can't think of anything that will work with that.

Not done my exercises yet as I've been burning the calories walking and driving all round the North West today .... but I'll be doing them when I come back later :)

Good for you! I've thought about running, but would need to do it under the cover of darkness and well:eek: I'm afraid of the dark:D

Went for a walk down the beach today and a lady came hurtling past on a pair of rollerskates, now that looked fun, I think I may invest in some:cool:

I started exercising week 3 of Cambridge diet, I went to aerobics twice a week. I loved it, but since then I now have quite a few evening commitments and so can't go, have looked for day classes but don't seem to be any in my area:(

Well, I've had my exerciuse for the day! We visited my brother who lives in the middle of nowhere and he wanted to take his hulking great rottweiler (I know!I know!:eek::eek:) for a walk. I said "I'm not walking up any bl00dy great hills" and he said "No- don't worry!"

He lied.

Good grief I nearly died before we got to the top, and my legs were like jelly on the way down but now I feel very virtuous! :D

Still considering the crunches though - mmm the thought of carpet burns puts me off somewhat - but then, I suppose I DO have wooden floors:rolleyes::rolleyes: - dammit - another excuse bites the dust!
 
I've done my crunches for the day:) Plus got my stepper out:eek: Worked wonderfully once all the dust and cobwebs were removed, however was only on it for a couple of minutes (if that) and the phone rang:D Thought was there though;)
