Missed a shake ..

I screwed up last night :(
I'm approx half way through my AAM week, and until last night it had been going well. But, I forgot to have my 3rd shake last night ... Will it affect being in ketosis?
I only realised this morning, if I had a brain I'd be dangerous! :D
Today I'm going to try re-arranging the time's I have the shakes and the food, to try and make it a bit easier.

Anyone else finding it hard to get through 3 shakes and their bit of food?

No, missing a pack is not an issue. If anything it means you may lose more weight. lol. (I didn't say that). But, the only reason you have to have the reccommended amount of packs is because they have a certain amount of calories and it's the law to not have less calories than that a day. If that makes sense? So, don't stress yourself if you miss one hun. If anything it means that you're doing well and sailing through. You're not as hungry basically. Hope that helps?x

Sorry, I have to disagree here. It's really very important to have all 3 shakes. Missing one shake once isn't going to do any harm, but done regularly it'd slow down your losses and you'd be at risk of malnutrition and deficiency diseases. The lack of calories combined with the lack of nutrients would put you into 'starvation mode' and your body would burn muscle and retain fat, the opposite of what we're aiming for.

Wiccan Witch, don't worry about it having happened, but do try to get all 3 packs down every day, it's so important.

Don't worry about missing the one pack yesterday it was an accident not done on purpose.

You must ensure that you have all three from now on otherwise you will fall below the safe nutrition levels.

It is not okay to just have 2 packs and you will not lose weight more quickly quite the reverse and you will risk your health.

If you feel tired today or hungry have the other pack today even if it is for a bedtime drink.

Just get back on track today and well done on so far.

Just let Nick know, he will probably read this anyway.

I had the same thing yesterday - think I left everything late in the day, suddenly finding I hadn't had 3rd pack and needing to drink 3 pints water before bed (not a restful night!). I know that I should plan a bit better and have more earlier in the day. So, don't worry you arent the only one thrown by AAM week - but I am sure we will be ok!

You both will be fine you have only done this one day. It is easy to 'forget' when you are in ketosis.

Take out all three packs you need each day and leave them where you can see them that way you know you have taken them all.

It was an accident , and Don't worry do what Linda said. It is important though to have all your shakes as it won't do you any good.

I will just give you a slap when I see you :eek:

You are doing great and I can't wait to see your loss as I know you have been so focused.

Clairabell, I'm glad it wasn't just me, I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on!

I'm going to do what you suggested Linda, take three packs out each day and place on the kitchen worktop, that way I know if I've had them all or not.

Nick, before you give that slap, can you teach me to block first please? That way I can block the slap :D
