:sign0009:I need help guys, serious help:gen147:!!! I've well and truely lost my mojo:missing:. I'm 17lbs from target and struggling so much to get through even one day without cheating:doh:, which is so not like me.

I think the problem is that I've got my new size 12 uniforms and they fit (snug, but they fit). I have no incentive to keep going, nothing to work towards and it's soooo very hard when that happens:badmood:. I really want to get to my target but it's just soooooooo hard.

I've tried reading through the list of reasons why I want to get to my target and even that isn't motivating me enough. Aaaaarrrrghhhhhhhh!!! I need a kick up the ass:whoopass:cos I'm getting fed up.:sigh2:

Where has my will power gone? Mojo is missing:missing:.

Heya hun!! Right, I think we've all been where you are now at some point, so don't panic! There's a way out.

You say you feel you have no incentive to keep going... what about your goal? Is that not an incentive for you? Maybe it feels too far away and you need to set yourself some mini-goals or incentive-based targets..

What is it that you love to do? If you can set yourself some weightloss or even time-based goals, and for each goal set a "treat" or "reward", would that help? E.g (and these have been mine too in the past and worked a treat):

Get through 3 days of SS 100% = Have a pamper evening
Get through first week and/or lose 10lbs (whichever comes first) = Treat myself to a new accessory/piece of jewellery
Get through 2 weeks = Go for a day trip somewhere nice

    etc.etc.

    hope that helps! xxx

    Oh sweetheart, bless you.
You have done so fantastic..dont give up now! Tell yourself its brill that your new uniform fits but will feel even better when its got a bit of "play" in it.
Hopefully its just one of those days and it will pass with no harm. Hang in there!!! x:bliss:

Hmmm I like your ideas, this is just so not like me. I'm usually so motivated, and well behaved. I think if I can get through one whole week of SS without cheating I'll be back on a roll again, so for now these are my mini targets.

    Get through tomorrow on SS
Get through til Wednesday on SS - book massage for Saturday
Get through the weekend on SS - buy a new CD
Get to weigh in having done SS all week - buy a new book

That should at least get me through the first week I hope. My next holiday is still such a long way away (September) so I can't really look to that as inspiration yet.
Thanks for the idea's. Will give it a go, nothing to lose (but weight).

Great hun! Well done :) you've taken the next step! Now do NOT allow your mind to talk you out of this. You know it's safe, you know it works, and you know you're capable of it. Remember that and when you start to feel peckish, doubtful, tired, headachey, or anything vaguely negative that you might associate with the diet, remind yoursef that you CAN overcome these thoughts/feelings. You're stronger than the urge to eat - prove it to yourself :)

I know they're leaving me til last lol, so I have til March at the latest, it's perfect incentive to keep the weight off though. I've just given myself a stern talking to, and realised that I can lose 17lbs in a matter of weeks if I stick to SS 100%, if I don't and I mess about it's going to take forever. So from here on in NO MORE EXCUSES, NO MORE BULL SH*T!!! I can make this go faster, I can do it, I just needed to remember that.

And yes I totally love Saltburn, It's a great place to live, except right now it's so windy I'm a wee bit scared...

    Hey hun

One of the things that helped me was that whenever I had lost weight before I had never reached my goal and had gone on to regain all the weight I had lost. I believed that if I reached my original goal the achievement would have more value to me and I may stand a better chance of maintaining.

Hang in there you are soooo close!
