monday morning at home weigh in

Well done losers and a big well done to Suzyflo for getting back to target.

How confused do you want to be?
Since last OFFICIAL WI 2 weeks ago I've lost 1½ lbs.
BUT . . . when I got on the scales a day early last week for an unofficial WI, I was up by 2¼ lbs - putting me at 5¼ lbs over target. :eek:

Once we got back from the apartment I've had 5 angelic red days with hardly any carbs .
The red days have worked big time and I've lost 3¾ lbs ! Almost unheard of for me.
I've only ever lost 3 lbs in a week twice before and 2 lbs in a week just 12 times (and that's in 5½ years!!!)

So I'm now back to just 1½ lbs (0.7 kg) over target and back below 12st at 11st 11½ lbs

I'm well pleased!

Don't know whether I can lose the 1½ lbs this week what with mum being here but I shall give it a bleddy good try!
 
Hey everyone! And welcome to all newbies! Well - waaaahhh! - I lost 2lb which is great, but if I'd have lost 3 that would have been my first stone. I shall have to be patient now and wait til next week. I will resist jumping on the scales every hour, just to make sure it's still there, that pesky pound! Can't grumble really, feel like I've done so well so far. The difference in the way my clothes fit now is amazing. I feel a whole new world of wardrobe possibilities is just around the corner... roll on summer! :D And well done to all who lose / lost or STS xx
 
Hey everyone. Normally weigh myself on a Tuesday, but had two weeks off for Easter.... with birthdays and lots of socialising and now am back at work, thought I'd check out the damage asap..... and am amazed to have a STS! 100 % back on it now as feel bad for wasting two weeks where i could have got closer to my goal, but can't change the past! Here's to a good loss next week for everyone!
 
Well I was STS this week, probably due to the fact I went out for a meal with work colleagues on Friday evening to somewhere new and couldnt resist trying every course! Opppps!
Still, STS us better than putting on! I am a little miffed though as a loss would of put me under the 12st mark! Hopefully next Monday will show me a loss though!
Keep going everyone, we're an inspiration to each other! X

My first weigh in too!! and just like you I did not know about the speedy veg until wednesday but always eat alot anyway so I may have pulled it off lol good luck to you for the morning xx
 
Hi All

I'm having to start again from scratch, so I will sort out my information ticker tomorrow. I'm so disgusted with myself - I've been losing and gaining the same 10lbs for months now ... :cry: I was diagnosed with borderline Type II diabetes a few weeks ago and I thought that would get me back on the straight and narrow - but I'm ashamed to say that it hasn't.

This is my last chance ... my doctor is going to kill me when I go back on Tuesday and have actually GAINED weight!! I don't want to take medication, so I'll just need to throw myself on her mercy and hope that she gives me another few weeks to show her that I can get to grips with losing weight.

Good luck to everyone .... sorry for being a party pooper ... but I'm so depressed right now .... :wave_cry:

Moppet don't fret, you've done it before, I'm sure you can be strong and do it again. I hope the Dr is nice to you! Sometimes we just need a bit of a kick up the bum...maybe after the Dr go through your kitchen and chuck out all the crap?mif it's not there you can't be tempted!

Ah well - reporting in with a gain . . . :cry:
0.8 kg (1¾ lbs) so I haven't put everything back on I lost last week but I'm out of target range.

Twas to be expected really with mum being here as, even though I weas good in the house, we ate out 4 time.

Oh well back to Red days and lets shift it . . . AGAIN!

I've come down with a stinking cold over the weekend :sick: so I'm making a big pot of soup and will be camping on the sofa catching up on my TV shows.
 
I started doing Slimming world again last week. I weigh myself everyday (Naughty i know) But i only use my weight on my official Monday weigh in. Anyway i was 18st 2.2lb and today i am 17st 11.2lbs :D

Well done on all the losses! It's nice to read all the positive posts.

I weighed in at 223 lbs this morning - that's 15 stones and 9 pounds - which is the heaviest I've ever been. Wish me luck - I'm just going to get my head down and take it half a stone at a time ...

Hi All, welcome newbies and well done losers.

STS for me so still bang on target, delighted as have had a tough week, I had a big birthday last Thurs so have been doing a lot of celebrating. Dinner bed and breakfast on Mon/Tues, lunch out on Thurs followed by drinks and eats and birthday cake at home on the night...was concerned I might have gone overboard but all seems good so far, I'll have a careful week this week and hopefully nothing will catch up on me at next weigh-in. :)

It's a STS for the third week for me, getting slightly frustrated, but still very determined! I'm going back to the windtunnel to do my indoor sky diving tomorrow (haven't been for 4 months) and my pony has his shoe put back on on Friday so hopefully the additional exercise will help!

Thanks suzyflo, feeling a bit more with it now :) Well done on your STS.

Keep at it LunaMini, you could always start a food diary so people could give you tips on things you could be doing differently.

Ive only started up again this morning and I'm doing it by myself at home but I could really do with the support and motivation!

Hi everyone and welcome newbies, you'll love it here I'm sure - I know I do. Last minute Monday entry for me, a pound off this week (I can hear Peter Kay ringing in my ears!) BUUUUT - first stone gone! Whoopwhoop! I really think my 'treat night', well, my 'binge drink on cider night' is not helping my efforts. A girl's gotta let her hair down though right?! Maybe I'll try and give it a rest for a few weeks as I'm patently NOT getting away with it. The burger and chips on the way home doesn't help either... confessions, confessions:eek:! That dreaded word 'exercise' keeps cropping up in my thoughts. It's going to have to come to that, and soon! Well done to all who lost or STS, here's to a great week hopefully to come for us all! :)xx
