Mousse and Jelly

Hi all,

Does anyone know what happens to the mousse if you leave it out of the fridge? I am going on a picnic tomorrow and was thinking of making myself a little triffle (made one yesterday, it was delish!).

I have a cooler bag with ice bricks, should that be enough to keep it solid for a couple of hours? Does mousse melt? I've never left it long enough without gobbling it down to know!

I've not had either but I'm sure I've read somewhere that as with the shakes, the mousses have to be consumed quickly to ensure that the nutritional content is 'fresh'...after 15 minutes doesn't it start to diminish? Of course, I may well be talking utter sh1te!!!

I'm sure yo uare right, I was thinking of making it out of a tetra though which the 15 minute rule doesn't apply to I think.

Oh well, gonna give it a try!
