Muffins and Cookies please.

    I would love to have muffin and cookie recipes please, having seen all the wonderful experts (in low syn baking) here, I'm hoping someone will have come up with muffins and cookies.
    Any type will do.
    I'm a novice at baking and would love to start.

    If you go to the blue bar just a few lines up and select 'search' then put in muffins or cookies and select 'threads' you'll get a page full :)

    Only found one recipe for chocolate chip cookies, would love more.

    2oz self raising flour
    4oz plain flour
    1.5oz low fat spread
    3.5oz toffee mullerlight yogurt
    3-4 sweetner
    3-4 drops vanilla essence
    0.5oz dark choc chips
    0.5oz white choc chips


    1.Sift SR flour and plain flour into a bowl with the spread until it resembles breadcrumbs.

    2.Add the yogurt, sweetner, and vanilla essence, knead into a dough. roll into a ball and wrap in cling film and chill for 10-15mins.

    3.Preheat oven to 200c/400f/Gas 7.
    Roll out the dough and either divide into balls or use cutters. Put them on a baking tray, evenly spaced as they will expand. Sprinkle over choc chips.
    Bake for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.

    2.5 syns each.


    Gonna try this on Saturday.
