My 10 Week TS Bali Bikini Diet

Hey smiley, such dramatic inch loss and its not even a full 3 weeks isnt it???? Wow must be such a great feeling!!
I measured a couple of days into exante and determined not to measure till the end of july ( abt a month) hope i have as dramatic losses!! Once again, very well done!! You r gonna look fantastic for bali :D Keep it up!! Xxx

Another good day today, my breath is really honky and I couldn't be more chuffed!
Have started doing some research on what way of eating I plan to do once the ten Weeks are up. I think I may follow the juddd plan, where you have a restricted calorie day alternated with a day where you eat what you like (within reason).
I need to do much more research of course, and depending where I am weight wise before I go to Bali, I may start a couple of Weeks before we leave. This way I would be over the restrictive induction phase and into the plan proper whilst away. Hmmm, will have a big think on that over the next couple of months.

It's worth a look, it's the Johnson up day down day diet. I hadn't heard of it until I was looking around on this site this afternoon. I'm not getting ahead of myself, just want to get myself prepared so I keep the weight off this time.

Monday morning and I'm feeling happy and confident that this diet is working for me. I got to 9 pm last night and realised I hadn't had my last pack! I have ordered the alternate day diet book by James Johnson so that I can read ahead, and digest that plan in good time before looking to start it in September.
Off out with the dog shortly and then to work. 1 litre down and plenty more to come. Feeling very positive that I may yet wear a bikini in Bali - yay!

Brrrrrr, I'm freezing - ghastly weather this afternoon.

I have been checking how much carb I have daily, does 65g sound normal for a vlcd?
I have 2 Exante shakes a day with 20g carb in each = 40g and 1 Ultra Slim bar with 25g.

Any clarification would be greatly received.

Hello Tuesday, the sun is shining and I'm still freezing and now have continuous evil breath. So, it may have taken me a while this time, but I'm quite happy the scales will start showing proper vlcd type losses now.
Have been doing alot of reading on the other forums about the juddd up day down day diet and have also ordered the book. I want to know the science behind it, but from reading the diaries I think it will be ideal for me when I've finished Exante.
I'm trying to leave my breakfast shake a bit later today, so I can stop my tummy rumbling when I get to work and smell the canteen food!

Another good day, having breakfast later was quite helpful today. The smell of freshly baked sausage rolls at work was gorgeous, but I'm so firmly into my Exante routine more that it is nothing more than a lovely smell. Have had my four litres of water, plenty of black coffee, 1 bouillon, 1 banana shake and half a pack of choc shake as a hit choc. Just got the other half to have this evening.
My next bumper pack of Exante shakes should be delivered to me at work tomorrow. I've ordered early because I am running out of chocolate, and I want to take them to London with me at the weekend to have as hot chocolate. I will be fully prepared for my continued dieting once I have got my new supply of Tesco ultra slim bars.

Hi hon I saw you are working toward a similar goal.... Feeling good for holiday. I am in the same boat too. I have gained 10 kg since our last year holiday at the same time as the coming one.... And none of my clothes fit. I am wearing stretchy skirt dresses and it is daunting to thing of holiday snaps and things I get upset seeing pics. Where are you from? I am in Ireland. We head to Paris on 27th aug so I'd like to lose 6kg what is your diet plaan... I have none as yet just cutting bread, junk and eating after 8pm... My hardest challenge chat soon I hope xx

I love all your planning and i'm sure it will stand you in good stead - I heard on the weather forcast that Saturday is going to be a beautiful day and I turned to hubby and said - family day - lets all go out together and have a lovely day. Now i'm trying to consolidate how I will do the inevitabe eating thing as we are sure to get food somewhere - but well i'll just have to find a solution - i'm determined to stay 100% too. I hope you have a brilliant time in London - not sure i'll be able to cope without my right hand gal though lol!

D, I'm trying to quote your message and reply to it, so fingers crossed this works.
I hope you get a lovely sunny day on Saturday, and go somewhere lovely. You can stay strong whilst the others eat, I'm sure. It's quite empowering sitting there with a litre of posh restaurant water and black coffee!
Don't worry about me not being about as I'll be back Sunday afternoon. I'll miss my little spaniel too much! How did the biscuit decorating toddler party go?

Hi Katie,
It's great to hear from you. I am doing Exante, started 29th June and will be doing it until I go to Bali on 17th September.
I first did a vlcd in late 2005 and lost about 4 stone in 4 months. Over the years I've put some on, taken it off etc until starting again properly now. I have struggled to get into ketosis fully this time, despite being 100%, however I am now, which is great. I am completely in the zone and am really certain that I will lose as much as I can for the holiday. We've saved so hard for it, and I'm not going to go away feeling too big for all my clothes and really self conscious!
This forum is excellent for meeting great people, who understand how
you're feeling, the ups and downs of dieting and the various emotions that it can unlock. Once I get back from holidays I am looking at moving to the JUDDD (Johnson up day down day diet, also known as the alternate day diet). It's where you fast one day, feast another. It seems to work for the girls on minimins whose diaries I've read.

Stay in touch, I'm always happy to chat.

Well I don't think they could have wanted for anything more! Pass the parcel brings back fun memories. I don't suppose H&S allow pin the tail on the donkey these days?!!

Morning all,
I've lost track of days, but I think it's day 19 in the Bali bikini diet house. I'm still feeling good, quite stable and balanced on my Exante trip. No major ups or downs, indeed nothing much to report. It will be a busy day, lots to do after work and a fair bit of walking. It all helps toward the goal, it doesn't feel within reach yet, but maybe in another 19 days it will. I can't believe how quickly these Weeks fly by! Have a successful day everyone.

Yes, that's really a great feeling isn't it? I'm lucky to have spent the last year reorganising my life so that I do feel in control of it. But, the one area I kept until last was sorting out my weight/eating habits. I really do feel that I am in the best mental place I've ever been to achieve harmony in that area.

I didn't think this forum would actually ever be more than something I would drop into and read. However, I am actually writing a diary, people are reading and contributing to it and I really have seen the benefit in talking to people who are doing the same thing. Despite leading vastly different lives, we are going through the same physical and emotional patterns and trying to lead better lives. The support is ultimately what may keep people on the straight and narrow. Good on all of us!

Just made 5 ghastly bowls of icing in olympic ring colours, ready to ice 50 ring doughnuts for work tomorrow!

Yes, quite hilarious!
Well, we stood in the driving rain and watched the olympic torch. Whoosh, and it was gone! But I am very, very pleased to have seen it.
