Hello everyone! This is my diary for my weight loss journey. I started on Monday 23rd September so I begin on the evening of day 3 weighing 14 stone 5 lbs. I am doing a shakes only diet as the meal packs didn't appeal to me. Though, I may through in the porridge ones in the near future!

Day 1 went very well, was happy and resisted all temptation so I was 100%. Yay.

Day 2 was harder, I had four hours of lectures which made me want to grab my favourite snack on the break - Mini Cheddars! But I resisted and made it through again 100%.

So today (day 3) has been great through morning and afternoon, the biggest challenge was dinner time - my partner made spaghetti bolognese for himself and the kids and I desperately wanted some! But I stayed strong and resisted. I skipped having a breakfast shake and have had a lunch and a dinner shake, so can have one more shake just before bedtime.

Had a cheeky weigh in today too and was down 5 lbs! But I know to take that with a pinch of salt so I'm not disappointed on weigh in.

So tomorrow is day 4! Hopefully will hit ketosis! :)

So today is day 4! A very early day 4 at the moment.

So tired! But off to a lecture so that'll atleast keep me busy this morning :)

Good Morning and welcome! Sounds like you've managed really well the first few days which are always the hardest, and you're already seeing a good loss. Keep us posted on your progress :)

They've gone pretty good yeah! Had some negative thoughts try and creep in but kicked them out.
Have only had one shake so far today. Feeling very tired so have been asleep since I got home. Whoops. But still 100% so far and have finally written down some mini goals :)

End of day 4. Had my last shake an hour ago. Another busy day tomorrow.

So pleased another 100% day. Took advantage of the 50% off pick your own pack, to add some 'food' back into my routine - need something less liquid!

So now I have 9 weeks so I must carry on or it'll be such a waste of money! :)

3 days til weigh in number 1 eeek.

Beginning of Day 5!

Don't feel like I'm in ketosis at all, I'm not hungry but I'm tired and very hot.

I suppose I'll see if I get a burst of energy at the end of the day. :)

Going to have a shake soon for breakfast and then out 10:30am - 3:30pm for a lecture. When I get home my new bumper pack should be here. Yay. Luckily my partner will be here to grab it.

Will probably have another shake when I get home then Red Bean Chilli for dinner. ( Will remember to let it soak a little this time)

Going for another 100% day - more worried I will slip up at the weekend where kids are at home and need feeding throughout ha.

So this lunchtime was tough, being on the train and I was surrounded by food! It was really difficult not to want to run and grab something delicious as soon as I got off the train but I kept strong.

Very tired so will have a quick nap after I have a Curry food pack. Hope I like it!

So onto Day 6 - have just had my porridge and so glad I ordered some more!

Managed to keep 100% yesterday so going for another 100% today. Surprised I've kept so strong. Still yet to feel a burst of energy or feel cold. Been super hot!

Trying to make a decision about my birthday which falls on the second day of what will be my week 4 (food week) so trying to decide if I want to take the day off? And have a nice meal with my partner.
Well I have to spend my actual birthday in 5 hours worth of lectures so think I'll need a treat!

Onwards and upwards, will update later. :)

Started to feel very down. Just wanting to munch on something tasty.
Done 5 days 100% I really want to make the week 100% but just need some support.

Managed to stay strong and have Chilli and a shake yesterday - nothing else!
Another 100% day!

Day 7! Going to have some more porridge soon to start my day off. Probably just shakes after as TOTM making me feel down :(

Had my porridge, partner has just got back from carboot and wants to treat the kids to a McDonald's. He asked me if it was okay. I nearly cried! I don't want to put a damper on everyone else but I don't know if I can cope with that temptation around.

Hi Sheridan. Looks like you've made a really good start! Keep it up and the weight will drop off!
 
I'm so close to giving up :( I just miss the tastes. Luckily no McDonald's in the end but just smelling the kids' dinner is making me so very annoyed that I can't have any :'( I really hope this is just TOTM emotions messing with me because I really want to lose weight. :banghead:

I did 6 and a half days 100% then gave in!
Annoyed at myself but just starting afresh this morning and not beating myself up.

Since today is WI I braced the scales, preparing to be dishearted and even with a massive blip yesterday....

I have lost 7lbs! Hooray! So onwards and upwards with hopefully no more blips! :D

Feeling good today - will aim to keep 100% this week. At the gym, having done an hour of cardio already working up a massive sweat lol.

Thanks Lynne, was annoyed I gave in last night but it was only one evening and it gave me a push to get back to the gym :)

One evening won't make much, if any, difference! just put it behind you and keep on track,
 
That's reassuring then. I am very happy with my loss but interesting to see next weeks with no TOTM involved lol.
