My first Day on Atkins

Could anyone review my menu , all comments welcome:D

B - 2 Eggs, 15g Butter, 20g cheddar cheese, 15g single cream, 1 splenda tablet,

L - Asda Peppered mackeral, 50g lettuce, 45g cucumber, 15g Garlic Mayo

D- Asda 3 fresh minute steaks, 160g mushrooms, 40g cheddar cheese, 1 slice of bacon, 50g cabbage, 50g aspargus tips, 30g single cream, 2 splenda tablets

2 litres of water
3 coke zeros - doesnt effect my ketosit, been on a VLCD and had no problems.
30g olive oil.
2 coffees

I hope I have done this right. Got a banging headache and I feel like I have eaten a horse :D

Looks fine, you will get in the swing of things soon and yes you do eat more on atkins.

look at the stickies above i think you could eat more veg, upto 3 mugs a day, the book does explain in detail or look at the atkins website

Yes I agree with Stephen - more leafy greens - they help you stay regular (sad but true).

The headache could be from caffeine withdrawal - but you're having 5 coffees a day, effectively. Just monitor it and have lots of water. I went from 5-6 a day to 1-2, and do honestly feel much better for it.
