My Goal is to be Healthier dropping from 27 stone 9 lbs

OK crazy time 2 referals under the 2 week wait rules in 1 day on tues 13th.

You couldn't make this up.

Obviously due to treatment for Colonoscopy on thurs 28th aug not sure if weight will really be true due to amount of laxatives I need.

However LETS give THIS a go. I CAN control something. Even if health is spiralling.

Unfortunately right now due to unpleasant symptoms I am going to have fruit/veg but other stuff too. As right now I dont need more fiber.

However I am going to TRY and develop a healthier realtionship with food.

I think 6- 7 snacks around 200- 400 cals will work better. I cant eat normally. I feel so heavy and bloated Unfortunately.

So TRYING to change things. Yesterday ( mon ) hit protein goal so win. Am trying 1L sugar free squash plus 500 mls water and also coffees and teas.

Had Fruit salad my carer made with some oranges and raspberry and aldi kiefer yog. Also added tender stem brocoli to tea. I am TRYING to add more fruit/veg slowly.

Carer and I made mash with pots, butter and skimmed milk. Still some for OH.

Hoping to make stilton and brocoli soup. I also eat ALOT of process stuff due to mobility and ME_CFS. Am slowly trying to batch cook. But freezer full at moment. Obviously good money wise.

Did weigh in with pjs and oddie on was 26.6 so down 1lbs. Maybe Xxxx

Sounding really positive, Jules!

I love batch cooking - it's so nice to know that things are there and ready to go! But it does take organisation to get going in the first place, and it sounds like you're taking great strides towards that. I find frozen veg an absolute life-saver as well, because you're not having to do all the prep.

I saw a list earlier of good swaps for processed: I'll try and find it for you later today.
