Naan topped with Spice Lamb
Serves 4
390 cals per serving
2 tsp veg oil
450g of lamb, cubed
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp garlic pickle or balti curry paste
150ml low fat plain yoghurt
10cm piece of cucumber, chopped into small pieces
2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
4 mini naans
1. Heat the oil in a wok and add the lamb a handful at a time cooking on a high heat. Takes about 5 minutes for it all to be browned off. Add the onion and turn the heat down a little, cook for another 5 minutes, stir every so often.
2. Add in the garlic pickle or balti paste and mix together. Should take another few minutes for it to be cooked.
3. Mix the yoghurt, cucumber and coriander together for a kind of riata sauce
4. Warm the naans
5. Place a naan on a plate, top with the lamb and add the yoghurt sauce if wanted
