Need something exciting to do with leeks!!

I really like the subtle taste of leeks, but never know quite how to use them. Now sauteeing them in cream is out! - does anyone have any great recipes (I'm mainly a red day person).

mixing with cheese (HEA) and then using as a toast topper is delicious!

Boil them, drain them and then add some VLF cream cheese and chives.. yummmm!!

I like mine in mash too.

Also on red days, very nice fried with bacon. Lovely accompaniment to a chicken breast or similar.

You can also fry them with a splash of white wine in the pan. V tasty.
