I am loving doing my training, but I am in my 3rd year now and have a dissertation to write and I'm feeling like I'm behind and the year has only just started! And I'm sure you remember the being skint part!

Do you work in a specialism? Am torn as to where I want to end up, luckily I am enjoying it all at the moment x
 
I've always preferred surgery to medicine, I currently work in elective ortho at the moment but its only 22.5hrs jobs are hard to come by up here :-( but I work bank to make up my hours x
 
Yes, I haven't started looking yet, but I'm not sure the job market is so great down here (in the North West) at the moment either!

I am just trying to convince myself that tonight is my last night of naughtiness - just had a large glass of wine and a mini (Tesco) milkyway, hmpf. I have my mum and stepdad coming for tea tomorrow though (I'm making a low syn Italian chicken casserole), but my lovely boyfriend is baking a very synful cheesecake as we speak, I am only going to have a small slice though!

I've tried to come up with a plan and I am thinking maybe I should up my syns to 15 at the weekend and allow myself 2 HEb's a day or something and see if that curbs my impulse to eat rubbish, because surely cutting myself some slack but following the plan would be better than just going into self-destruct mode and eating anything I can get my hands on? (I daren't tell you what I ate today!)
 
What plan are you following? I'm following EE I maybe use a couple if syns during the day for some light mayo or honey and come evening I have 2 digestive bus hits with Nutella. Tonight I had the Chinese but that's only 5syns. Your syns are there to be used, so use them or save them up for a night out x
 
Well I was doing EE and that's how I got to target, but then I discovered you can have more HEs on Green days, so I tried to do them, but I think that is where I have been going wrong because I don't fully understand them! Maybe I should dig out my first few food diaries and go back to basics, because I would quite like to get down to the bottom of my target zone to give me some leeway, so that's 5lb I want to shift. I also think I need to do some more exercise, but my problem at the moment is that I keep guilt-tripping myself - I feel like I should spend all my free time doing uni work, but then I just end up procrastinating and doing neither! So frustrated with myself at the moment!! I have booked on a 'Managing Procrastination workshop in a couple of weeks, so hopefully that will help :D

Chicken with green peppers & black bean sauce with boiled rice, was very yummy. This is my first time doing slimming works and I've stuck to EE, I don't feel I'm missing out on anything, still got half my hea and my heb to have today.
 
I think you're right, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything when I was doing EE properly, so I just need to get back to it!

Yeah I'm doing good Leigh Anne, in scared to up my exercise regime as I hear everybody saying their weight loss slows down, think ill leave in another few weeks yet x
 
I hav the opposite effect wen i dont exercise my weightlosses r significantly lower i find lol gym 3 times a week does the trick n its a bit me time cs ive got 9 month old daughter n shes a handful : )
 
Going good, I was nightshift tonight and had 3 oat bran with a mullerlight, pineapple and satsuma before bed. Got up at 1 and made a spag Bol with loads of super free added to it for dinner. Just had a baked potato with baked beans for lunch followed by melon & watermelon. How are you doing? X

Iv been a bit worried about this! I was on slimming world last year lost a stone without excercise! Iv now joined a gym and I'm starting slimming world tommorow Iv been reading excercise stops weight loss :/ I'm pleases Iv actually read someone who it's working for lol xx

Just trying to motivate myself to go for a mini-jog after coming in from my shift, shouldn't have sat down and had a cup of tea!
 
Ive always found exercise to help me : ) i know some people think it slows ther weight loss down but you never know!
Ive had good day today
Breakfast was two weetabix with skimmed milk and sliced banana
Lunch was batchelors pasta n sauce maccaroni cheese (1.5 syns) with sweetcorn n carrots mixed in
Afternoon snack vanilla mullerlight
And tea is sw chicken tikka massala with basmati rice followed by grapes and another yogurt : )
Jus dun an hour cardio in the gym too would live 2.5lbs off this week but may b hopin to high
