There is not ONE of us who can't meet our targets... Lets list 5 reasons why we are doing this... here goes mine:

1. To be able to shop in topshop and miss selfridge (AND PRIMARK!)
2. To be able to wear a bikini/ tankini on hol
3. To feel confident on nights out/ in court/ ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME!
4. To avoid embarrassment in certain situations e.g. rollercoasters, airplanes, close together tables....
5. To LOVE ME!

1. To not be the chubby mum at the school gates, want DD to be proud

2. Going to America in October with all DH family to see Micky mouse

3. to wear bikini, but afraid to many years of being big has played havoc with my skin but who cares ;-) I'll be skinny

4. To be able to look in the mirror and smile cause I did that

5. To be fit and healthy and live a long and happy life :) :) :)

All mine sound so vain- there are many others which aren't really relevant since losing weight because I've done that (if that makes sense):

1. To have thighs that do not chafe and rip each other open anymore leaving scars (still doing it at 137 lbs - damn being a shortass)

2. To have calves that fit into high boots (I refuse to buy wide leg- my ankles are skinny so normal boots bag around them.)

3. To be in the best shape possible of my life; I always saw myself as a fat kid

4. To have people shouting 'hot' comments in the street, not fat ones (well, not necessarily, just stop the fat ones)

5. To be the girl I always wanted to be and not want to be anyone else :)
 
Excellent girlies!!

1) To WEAR the clothes gathering dust in my wardrobe......
2) To wear a bikini on holiday and feel comfortable in it..,,,,
3) To NEED to wear a belt ~ not for decoration ~ sometimes.......
4) To see my little darlings grow up and set a better example for them......
5) To see it through ~ FOR ME!!!

My 5...

1, to be able to shop in high street stores other than just Evans!!

2, to feel sexy in myself and for my husband.

3, to have more energy to be able to run around with the kids more and walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like I'm gonna pass out.

4, to know for once in my life I've really achieved something and done something for me.

5, to throw something on and instantly look fabulous, because I'm worth it (flicks the hair!!)

WI day!! Nervous!! Used to weigh myself every day and get cross at them lol now I'm trying so hard I'm scared to step on them incase they tell me Im not doing as well as I think I am!?! Mad or what.,

Well done Slandy. This is a brilliant thread thanks Carly. Here's my 5 ;

1) to go on my weekend away to London and come back with clothes instead of another pair of shoes!!!!
2) to be able to wear any top / dress and not have to cover up with a black cardigan!!
3) to be able to pack light for hol/weekend away and not throw in tons of clothes hoping something will look ok when away - you know when you have to try 3 or 4 outfits on nearly every day.
4) to be a yummy mummy.
5) to live to a ripe old age to watch my kids grow-up

1) Get rid of my lumps and bumps round my stomach, bum and thigh areas.
2) To be able to wave to my kids without bingo wings, I would happily stay a size 14 if only I could get rid of those.
3) To be able to buy things in the surf shops in Newquay and not storm out with the arse like a moody child.
4) For the mirrors in Next to flatter me at all angles!!!!!!!
5) For my next pair of Uggs to be the high length not the short length.

And my 5 things:

1] to not have to worry that the biggest size in fashion shops might not fit (s16 is so temperamental)
2] not feel so disgusted by my massive belly and not flinch when my bf touches it
3] hopefully allow me to strengthen my back through exercise to reduce pain
4] to wear any kind of swimwear, I hate my thighs, belly and back fat!
5] to love myself as much as the oh does :)

I've just been weighed and I've lost 3.5lb and I kno I should be jumping for joy but I'm not... The scales waved a 6lb loss in my face this morning meaning I would get my 2 stone off... And my 10% and I would be my lightest in 3 years... And I would still be averaging 2.5 a week which is what I need to get to goal by friends wedding... But no... They couldn't play nice... So really I only lost 2lb after last weeks undeserved gain ....

I kno it's really good ... And I kno u will tell me to chuck the stupid scales... Lol .... I'm off to the chippy and hoping the fittie is there!!! And I will get my 2 stone and 10% next week :D xx

Well I'd like to add my 5 if I may!

1. Because my good spirit is dampened the moment I see myself reflected in a window when at work or shopping and see a little fat roly poly and realise it is me!'

2. Because I am a shortie at 5'2" and having spent most of my adult life being slim, my weight does not suit my height, I am a barrel.

3. Because I still have my killer heels in the wardrobe and I aim to make a grand entrance when I have reached target wearing them and a slinky little number (not mutton dressed as lamb style you understand!!! :eek: )

4. Health. Health. Health.

5. To test my self discipline and self motivation which will result in improved self confidence and self belief.

To not have people call me fat any more. It makes me so sad. Even though I know it shouldn't because they are strangers and their opinions shouldn't matter, but it makes me feel like crap.
That's why I want to lose weight. I don't need more things making me sad......

Great idea, my five

1) to get a real meaty role at my theatre, not just the character part, I know I'm funny, but are you laughing cos I'm fat,
2) so I'm not the"fat sister" at my brothers wedding in December,
3) to be able to play in the garden with the kids without having to take a rest midway,
4) be able to by something in t k maxx that's not described as xl, xxl or plus size,
5) to maintain this added sex drive that me and hubby have since losing weight! Ooooo saucy!
