Thanks for adding me Carly. Interesting that you're a criminal solicitor wanting to retrain. I finished my law degree 4 weeks before my DD3 was born and graduated when she was just 2.5 weeks old :). I haven't done anything with the degree yet. Just taking time out to spend with family and am keeping my brain active by doing proofreading from home until I decide what I want to do.

Anyway, I digress I REALLY need someone to keep me away from Kettle crisps. They are one of my biggest downfalls, especially as my husband is a manager at their factory!
 
Heyy...been trying to add myself but having problems with my laptop...its not letting me copy and paste....grrrr!!! Anyway im gonna aim for 21lbs (minimum) Would like more but we'll go with 21lbs for now...can someone add me please? Im a Friday weigh in...cant wait to be back on track properly!!

Would like to have lost Christmas weight by end of feb and be at goat 11.5st by June..... I'd also like my lottery number to come up and move to the Bahamas I'm trying to keep this realistic!!

Tips!

Chicken and lamb sheesh kebabs are great and feel worse than they actually are!

Bacon medallions will keep you same when you'd literally kill someone for a bacon sarnie....trust me....I've been there!

Turkey ham is of the devil UNLESS you dry fry it first!

Weight watchers mallows taste like sugary packing material and should be avoided like the plague!

Make bubble and squeak with leftovers and have it with ww sausages surprisingly low on points!

Don't listen to toss pots who can only say "should you be eating that?!" to which the response is "yeah.....and you're next!"

Let the rest of the world think what it wants the 1 and only reason we're he is for US AND OUR LOVED ONES....

Carly, I was a mature student and actually felt at the end of my 2nd year that becoming a solicitor or barrister might not be for me, but couldn't really change course then, especially not after all the money that I'd already borrowed in student loans! What was the final clincher, though, was when DD3 was 6 months old, she was seriously ill (rare illness that DD2 had as well) and I felt that was a sign that I really should concentrate on my family for now. I've also toyed with the idea of training as a teacher, but I'm not sure if I'm cut out for that. Once DD3 is in pre-school in September, I'll have more time on my hands and will be able to make a decision!

I have stepped away from the crisps (but only because we don't have any in the house tonight).

I'm off to bed now. Last day of chaos tomorrow before semi-peace reigns once again on Wednesday when the older 2 are back at school!

Haha... hope it all settles when they get back to school.. is lovely that you are spending time with them... and something like that would definitely make you reassess!!

I really think teaching will make me happy... :D x

Can you not point them up into smaller bags. If you really cannot be trusted, give them away or bin them or give them me. Lol
 
I have tried putting them in smaller bags but then I just eat more than one bag. I've even told him to leave them in the boot of the car and not tell me but he keeps forgetting. I just need to develop more willpower :).

I'm not sure that I could resist in your position but one thing i have done before with food that i love that is bad for me is...aversion therapy!

Put some of the crisps in a bowl and mix them with something gross.... sweep the floor and put the dust in the bowl and then take a picture and every time you want to eat the crisps look at the picture and it will turn your stomach and you won't want them anymore! I did say it was gross didn't I?

Right, I've divided those offensive crisps into 5 snack bags worth 4 points each.

I also LOVE chocolate so will include a multipack of 2 finger kit kats in the next grocery order so I'm not too deprived.

Will be giving up chocolate for lent, so that temptation will go soon :).

Having stir fry for dinner tonight to use up left over pork roast.
