Hi all, My name is Gayle, I went on the scales yesterday morning and could of cried, I have put so much weight on, but this was defiantly the shock i needed, every weekend i say i am going to start my diet on Monday but Monday comes and go's and the diet never starts, I thought by doing a diary and hopefully getting support from you lovely people it will keep me motivated and you can give me advice or tell me if i am doing something wrong. I have read through some of the threads on here and the weight loss is incredible, I just hope i can add to the weight loss. I have done slimming world a long time ago and i have got hold of a new book and directory so going to give it a go, I can not get to class because of trying to juggle work and children but may join up online on pay day. So please come in and say hello and hopefully we can support each other. xxx

I too weigh at home. I done sw ages ago to and started back 9 weeks ago. You should try extra easy menu. As it fits so much easier into your life as you can eat both green and red together.

That first WI is never fun but you've done the hard bit now and have made the right first step. My c always says don't be upset about the numbers you see on the scales the first week as you will never see them again. Good luck hun I look forward to sharing your journey :)
 
Hello juicylucy and jo-85 , thank you both so much for the reply, you are both doing amazing on your weight loss journey.I must say when i stepped on them scales i did have a little cry but dusted myself off and feel positive about trying to do something about it, I am going to follow the extra easy and see how i get on, i will put what i have had today and hopefully if i have gone wrong somewhere you can let me know -

Breakfast - cup of tea with milk (A) and a banana (this is all i had in until Asda delivery come)
snack - Apple
Lunch - 2 egg omelette with roasted pepper and onion and bacon (fat removed) in fry light
Dinner - Roast beef, carrots,broccoli,new potato,and small york pud (5) and 2tsp of dried gravy gran (5syns)

not sure i have worked the syns out correct. am i correct in thinking you can have 10 syns a day?

Looks ok to me most important thing with ee is to make sure that your having your 1/3 superfree per meal so as long as your veggies were 1/3 then looks good. Syns wise is difficult to know if syns are right for Yorkshire pud as dependant on the weight of it etc. gravy is 1syn per level tsp of gravy granuals. You can have 5-15 syns per day on all plans. Hope that helps x
 
Morning everyone, well i managed to be good on the dreaded night last night and kept to the plan, I hate night times i could normally just eat everything in the house. I did not have a healthy extra B yesterday because i was not sure how much milk i had used and only fancied cereal but decided against it and had a satsuma instead, i only had milk in 2 cups of tea so i know i never used much but decided this morning to weigh my milk allowance and put it in a cup in the fridge so i know how much i am having. well here is to a good day everyone :).

Just been for a 45 min swim, god my legs are killing, I am so unfit. So far today I have had 2 weetabix with milk and granulated sweetener and a apple for breakfast. Now going to do some work ( I work from home) before I pick the kids up from school x

Thanks Nat good luck to you to. Well food diary for today so far -

Breakfast - 2 x weetabix (B) and milk (A) and apple
Lunch - roast beef with rocket leaves,pepper and onion
Dinner- spag Bol made with - 75g lean mince(2syns) onion, mushroom,pepper and 1/3 of a jar of Dolmio low fat (3syns) and pasta

it says in the my book Dolmio light hope this is the same as Dolmio low fat.

This does not seem like a diet just hope i am doing it right and hope i lose weight this week.

Morning everyone, well i was a little naughty last night and had a bag of walkers crisps so just went over my syns yesterday with 11.5 syns so need to be better with my syns today, I am loving the extra easy plan and hope it works for me, can't decide what to do today weather to have the day off or log on to work later when the little one is at nursery.

Lunch - uncle bens Express veg pilau rice pouch, (3.5) syns 3 satsumas and banana
Dinner- Jacket potato with 42g Motzerella (A) with Plain Pasta, Rocket,Pepper,Carrot and onion.

used 3.5 syns so far today.

Yes I do struggle with breakfast like you,but I must admit I am a snacker but I snack the wrong things so that's why I wanted to do slimming world where I can try and snack on fruit for free, I hated pointing fruit on ww I would rather have a a rich tea biscuit or something for same amount of points for a apple ha ha, I have just been trying to have a banana for my breakfast just so I have something. Hope you are having a good day today. Xxx
 
Well got up this morning and took the little one to my mam's so I could go to Aqua aerobics, must admit I really hate exersice but this was great fun, I joined a fitness club the other week because I know I need to exersice but I am just going to do swimming and water aerobics and water Zumba for now, I would love to Be one of those people who are addicted to exercise, maybe if I start to see a difference that might motivate me more.

I was a little naughty last night and had a pkt of walkers crisps but it says in my book 6.5 syns so ended up on 10 syns yesterday. I never had a healthy extra B yesterday I just did not know what to have I had already had my A, I think i will get some Alpen light bars. Well off to do some work now and hopefully make some money will update what food I have had today later.

LUNCH - omelette made with 2 eggs,mushroom,pepper and onion and 42g mozzarella (A)
Dinner- I made cottage pie - only had lean mince so counted 4syns for that with a steam bag of veg.
Snacks - 2 oranges,Banana and Harvest bar (4.5syns)

WHY did you syn the meat? are you doing extra easy? sorry for the questions I dont go to class so just finding my way around x
