new mums & mums to be !!! Who`s baby is due next ???

My sister moved her wedding to May 23rd - Im due April 24th, now at the time I thought this was great but now Im worried - it is quite soon after Im sure ill be tired and sore. But there is nothing I can do about it now. I am torturing myself though not to put on too much weight because I have to be bridesmaid then - and that is not what having a baby is about, but if I put on too much weight then Ill hate her wedding and that is not fair to her either. I think ill just try and be sensible but not worry about too much:)

Oh that was nice of your sister. I had a c-section but was really fine by the end of week 2. You will prob still have a lil bump but some good underwear and a nice empire line dress - you will look amazing!

Spoke to my doc and he thinks its a lil early for teeth but he has seen babies teeth as early as 8 weeks.....

We had our first birthday party yesterday....a bit hetic and noisy but he settled right in and managed even to sleep in the middle of everything too!

Trying to get Son No 1 ready for Rugby this morning...while trying to get enough b/feeding done to last us a few hours at the same time.

Hope all well!!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well....nothing worse than morning sickness......and feeling exhausted is just as bad....once I got past week 12 I suddenly had more energy....try to get a nap during the day or evening if you can.....

Oh the exhaustion - I feel your pain spooky, I feel as though my legs are made of lead, I am unbelievably tired this week - no nausea or sickness though so I should not complain too much.

Poor sarah - not a great weekend for you but at least you and bubs are ok, and the time is flying that is always good, try and take it easy and not worry too much!!

Hi guys ....yes im still alive ....just.
Hannah has started waking twice for feeds in the last week so am shattered, had her weighed today and she now weighs 10lb 12oz, so still on track.
Pleased everyone is progressing well, though the morning sickness is not good, though being tired makes it worse so nap as and when possible.

Hannah has started waking twice for feeds.

God I did a double take there, I read that as Hannah has started WALKING :rotflmao:

LOL so did I.....ditto Sonkie my guy is back to waking at 2.30 and 4.30 again.....another growth spurt??

Another long night of constant feeding....we are our 3 month development check on Wednesday - so expecting lots on the scales with all the feeding.

Well after trying to wean Hannah off the infacol she was going for at least 4 days without moving her bowels and seemed in pain, so have increased the infacol and she seems better and her bowels are back to normal.
She still gets fretful at the breast sometimes when she gets wind and a few days ago was sucking away and pulled off the breast at the same time resulting in me having a sore nipple which has a little scab on it which bleeds slightly when I take my pad off to feed her.
It is painful at first and if she doesnt latch right but does ease once settled on......unless she gets agitated and starts pulling off again, has anyone got any tips to heal sooner rather than later.

I got badly bitten by my little guy, he took a little chunck off and it poured blood and was sooo sore. I found the pads sort of stuck to it and when I went to feed it caused the scab peeled back which sounds like whats happening to you Sonkie.

I tried to let air at it as much as I could - I found a piece of cotton cloth rather than pads better and expressed a little milk and rubbed it into the nibble after every feed. I also fed him off the other breast first for a few days....it did clear up in less than a week.

After a painful night for both me and Hannah, me nipple seems fine now I kept putting nipple cream on which seems to have helped......Hannah was screaming in pain last night........she had such bad tummy pain she was pulling her legs right up......thing is it seems worse than the initial colic, and surely she should be getting over it now.....seeing they call it 3 month colic.....lol.

Twice now I have been so close to calling the emergency dr as nothing seems to help, I even gave her calpol.....!
Will have a word with the health visitor on tuesday.

OOOOOO we have next date for 2nd lot of jabs (gulp)......is it still 2 jabs as the first....?

Hope our pregnant ladies are well and taking it easy !!!!

Sorry Hannah's struggling again - it's hard when they wake up like that isnt it? I find laying jocelyn across me helps her release the trapped wind (tmi!), might that help hannah too?

Yeah, it's 2 jabs again. Jocels was so much more aware this time bless her.. I gave her a dose of calpol one hour before hand and she was MUCH better afyerwards, just slept for england! 3 jabs next time, poor baby!

Love your avatar Sonya

Thanks Irene.

I must confess to Hannah napping on her belly as it helps but I am always around when she does.......she will sleep for a few hours like this too.

Ahhh so its the third lot where they have 3........such a shame though as they are tense enough getting the second one that it hurts more.........I gave Hannah calpol before her first lot of jabs, so will do again this time.......just a shame they cant do it all in one go !!!!!

Hannah now weighs 11lb 1/2oz.....so still doing well.....apart from the tummy trouble. She even cries when she passes wind ........so hv is gonna keep tabs on her......she did say colic could go on til she is 6 months old.......arghhhhhhhh !!!

Hi girls, I have not had time to read yet but I am looking to lose my baby weight. I gave birth to my beautiful girl on 21st June and have 15 more lbs to shift. I am doing weight watchers and have been on it for 2 weeks and have lost 7lbs so far. I am also breast feeding. Is anyone else here breastfeeding and dieting? How are you getting on?

Congratulations to all you lovely new mummies :D

I have been attacked by morning sickness - or all day nausea as it should be called, I never had any with my son but I know all about it now, it is miserable, the hungrier I get the worse it gets so I eat something and then feel worse - not fun!!
On the plus side I haven't gained any weight whereas with my son by 12 weeks I had gained a stone and a half

Just back from our 3 month checkup. Weight now 13llb 7ozs and he passed all his milestones....so smiles all round.

My two boys off with their dad for a birthday party....felt sooo weird as its the first time baby has left the house without me.....keeping buzy with house work but I am finding this really hard....sad I know.

oh I so know what you mean Marks parents took Hannah out a few times but I hated it, I did some cleaning then sat looking out the window waiting for them to come back.
