New to the site and been on the cambridge diet for one week today

Please excuse the short inoduction I was trying to use the app I downloaded and wasn't sure if it was working correctly. On the full site now.

I'm Lynette, I'm 27 years old and have been on the Cambridge weight plan for 1 week now and have my first weigh in tomorrow.

I have been on the Cambridge plan before, started January last year. Unfortunately after a miscarriage I put alot of weight on and mentally have struggled to get on the diet properly. I am now back to the orignal weight before the diet plus 10 pounds and want to lose just under 4 stone

I feel more motivated than ever now as my boyfriend has proposed and I really want to look amazing not only for the wedding but all the fun stuff that comes before it.

Although today was a tough day, I somehow made it through. I'm not sure that without some more support I can do that again and am hoping to meet some new friends on here that I can offer a word of encouragement too and perhaps get some back.

I will log on again tomorrow to see what's happening

Thanks Irene, I weighed in this evening have managed 9 pounds loss on my first week which has inspired me to carry on and not give up. Looking through some of the threads it seems there is so much advice and encouragement, it's gat, I wish I'd come here sooner!

Hi. I have just started the CD and only on day two!
9lbs is amazing well done!! How you finding it?? What do you like eating on the CD. Are you a shake girl or soup??

I'm definitely more of a soup girl, I use the blender to mix it and have it a bowl to eat with a spoon, it feels like I'm eating something that way, tricking my mind a little lol. I like the shakes for the morning though as I've never been a big breakfast fan so it's nice to just have something sweet. What about you? How are you finding it? Have you tried anything like it before?

I have deffo learnt blended is the key!! Had the spicy tomato soup in a mug and it wasn't great but tonight I blended the oriental one and had it in a bowl too!! So much nicer! I actually sat with the family who where all tucking in to their lovely meals, but didn't feel like I was missing out on much!
I have just finished day 3, and found it ok. Had slight stomach cramps but was prepared for worse!!
No I have never tried anything like this before. I am finding it on the whole ok so far touch wood! Day one I wasn't very positive because every pack I had I didn't like! But then thanks to here learnt about blending the shakes with ice! And I have enjoyed everyone since!

Thanks Luv2BThin and Trlimmerme staying strong, nearly had a wooble yesterday but I've put a collage of pictures of a slimmer me and a couple of bikini body's I'd love right on the wall in the kitchen to remind myself why I'm doing this and it's worked wonders!!!! Cravings disappeared knowing I'm on the right track :)

Eaf, your totally right, this sites great for advice, I've been on a few times but never joined! Really glad I have it's a great place to come and share success or discuss problems.

Never liked the tomato soup by the way :-( it's the one flavour I can't do, it's too hard to get right and pastes too powdery and thick! Love love love the oriental chilli, my fav by far.

I've not tried the shakes with crushed ice, I will in the morning now. How are you getting on now, have the cramps subsided? I'm now on day 12 and excited to weigh in Monday afternoon, people are already mentioning a difference which is a great motivator!
