Newbie Hannah's SW food diary - feel free to comment

Hey all - newbie calling!

Just started SW eating plan - joined SW last Tuesday 16/03/2010 and so far I'm finding it pretty good!:D

Like a lot of people have mentioned here I am finding that I'm eating a lot of food!! Perhaps more than I expected I would but let's see how weigh-in goes on Tuesday - if I've lost 2lbs or over I will seriously jump for joy because I can eat so much and still lose weight!!

Anyway I'm posting my food diary since I started SW from Wednesday 17th March then will post daily there after.

At the moment I'm doing EE every day but I guess that might change at some point!

All food free apart from when stated.

Wednesday 17th March - good day!:)

Breakfast: Chopped banana, tinned grapefruit (2 syns) with muller light and 28g Granola (6 syns)

HExA: 250ml semi-skimmed milk in tea and coffee throughtout day

Snacks: 2 satsumas, apple, grapes

Lunch: Pasta salad with tuna, salad veg and 0.1% fromage frais

Snack: HiFi Bar (HExB)

Dinner: SW Spag Bol

Total Syns: 8:D

Exercise: 20 mins exercise bike and 15 mins walking

Thursday 18th March - good day:)

Breakfast: Chopped banana, tinned grapefruit and pears (4 syns) over mullerlight yoghurt and 28g Granola (6 syns)

HExA: 250ml semi-skimmed milk in tea and coffee throughtout day

Snacks: 3 satsumas, grapes, apple

Lunch: Lots of salad, raw veg, egg, small brown roll (HExB), vine leaves stuffed with rice

Dinner: SW chips, mushy peas, fried egg (with Fry light), total 0% greek yoghurt with artifical sweetner

Total syns: 10:D

No exercise

Friday 19th March - Too many Syns day but still OK!:eek:

Breakfast: Chopped banana, pineapple, tinned pears (2 syns) over mullerlight and 28g Granola (6 syns) - I am not adventuring past this current brekkie at the moment because I'm really enjoying it but at some point I think I will have to have a free brekkie so I can enjoy some chocolate!

HExA: 250ml semi-skimmed milk in tea and coffee throughtout day

Snacks: apple, satsumas, plums, grapes, HiFi Bar (HExB)

Lunch: 2 Jacket Sweet Pototoes with baked beans

Dinner: Arribiata Pasta from Italian Takeaway (12 syns) with Salad

Total Syns: 20

Exercise: 30 mins aerobics

Will post the rest of the week's eating in separate posts! Feel like I'm eating loads / too much!!

Saturday 20th March

HExA: 350ml skimmed milk in tea and coffee

Snacks: grapes, satsumas, apple, special K bar (HExB)

Lunch: Pasta salad with 0% fromage frais, carrot, onion and cucumber

I know what I'm going to have for dinner because it's all we have in and it's shopping day tomorrow!(promise to update in the UNLIKELY event that anything changes :eek:):

Dinner: SW chilli con carne and SW chips, 0% total greek yoghurt with artifical sweetener

Total syns: 8:D

Exercise: 20 mins exercise bike, 15 mins walking

Looks really good and balanced to me but do remeber to put one third of free vegetables or fruit on every plate of food you eat. Enjoy xx

I had what I said I would have and nothing more last night =)

Sunday 21st March
- good day but feeling the cravings!

Breakfast: Chopped banana, tinned grapefruit (2 syns), muller light with Granola sprinkled (6 syns)

Snacks: Satsumas, grapes

HExB: Special K bar

Lunch: Superfree veggie soup with a baked sweet potato

Dinner: Left over SW free chilli from last night with jacket potato with 28g cheese (HExA) and side salad

Snacks: Curly Wurly (7 syns)

Total syns: 15

Exercise:20 mins exercise bike, stretches and weights, 30 mins power walking

I will be so disheartened if I haven't lost weight at WI on Tues and I have to cut back!

Monday 22nd March - day off work and went to Asda - got some great deals on SW goodies including 12 Muller Lights for £2!!

Feeling much more motivated than yesterday and today it's easier, though need to cut down on syns but at least if I'm having max I'll have something to cut down on later as I have quite a bit of weight to lose.

Breakfast: Chopped strawberries, grapefruit, muller light, 28g granola (6 syns)

Lunch: Scrambled egg with fry light, spaghetti hoops, extra lean bacon, 1 slice wholemeal bread with scraping vry low fat marg (1/2 syn) - no super free food - just realised!!

Snack: grapes, muller light

Dinner: Reduced fat chicken kiev (10 syns), SW chips and mushy peas

Syns: 16 and 1/2 =(

Exercise: 20 mins on bike and 10mins toning

Hi all, thanks for the comments! Oops my mistake re Special K bars =( fingers even more crossed than they were already for WI tonight! have upgraded to Alpen light bars now as they were on offer at Asda!

Congrats Losingme for joining - I'm sure you will find the eating plan great - I'm pretty new but if I can help you in anyway please let me know!

Friday 26th March

B: Chopped banana, strawberries, tineed grapefruit (2 syns), muller light and 28g Granola (6 syns).

L: Pasta salad: pasta, lean ham, sweetcorn, cucumber, raw carrot mixed with 0% fromage frais

D: Takeaway pasta - pasta free - I estimate sauce at 10 syns and large salad

S: Yogurt and fruit

Exercise: 30 mis aerobics

Syns: 18 :(

Yay it's the weekend but needs to be seriously low syn after 2 days over :jelous:

I would suggest you have more variety as you could find yourself being stuck. Estimating syns can be the slippery slope downwards too. make sure you are not going hungry as well. Good luck xx
