Hi there, Im really keen on doing exante. I lost 4 stone on lighter life 4 years ago but then went on to have my 2nd child and put alot back on (tho not all) Since then I've tried, dukan diet, weight watchers, rosemary conley, slimming world but found i was only losing about 1lb a fortnight. I was told that because id done lighter life i would struggle to lose weight on a conventional diet as my body would hold onto any fat incase it went into famine again ( as in lighter life)
I know that i cant afford to pay £75 per wk on lighter life so this seems the perfect alternative. Is it true you only have 3 meal replacements a day on total solution as lighter life allowed you 4 and you were still well in with ketosis? i was just worried that i would be hungry as i do have a large appetite. Any help would be gratefully received :)

hi :D I too have tried to loose weight after doing a total food replacement and failed .... I did loose a bit , but so very slowly , so I came back and am on my 2nd week of exante and its great . Yes you have 3 products a day , but they are higher calories that most VLCDs , I did lipotrim and CD and they were both about 130 calories per shake , exante shakes are 200 calories . I find I am much more satisfied ( CD and LT are both only 3 shakes as well ) as I am getting 600 calories a day , the shakes are so thick and filling and the bars are big :) also if you do find you are really hungry you coul dhave 4 shakes a day as it would only take you to 800 calories , which is still classed as a VLCD and you would loose similar amounts

good luck xx

aah thanks for that reassurance. Think Im going to take the bull by the horn and order today. Ideally would like to start saturday but I guess it depends on how long delivery takes.
Ordered mine Friday morning, arrived this morning...I too am just starting out for the first time on a VLCD, tried all the conventional ones and failed!

I agree - the soups & shakes are so much thicker & creamier tasting, they are really filling. I'm still in week 1 and struggle to finish the bars! x
