    Heyyy!

I'm 21 years old and always been rather "cuddly"...

By the age of 16 I was at my heaviest at 19stone...

Now, through a !!LOT!! of hard work I'm down to 11st 7lbs :)

However, I'm really really reeeeeeally struggling to keep on track without binge eating every other few days, and all my life I've just needed that little help or support from someone because no-one's ever helped me with this problem and now that I'm so close I don't want to give up...

My goal is to be down to 11 stone, but my dream weight is 10st 7lbs...

I go to the gym nearly every day and absolutely love it, it's my life! (saddo I know! :p)

But I get discouraged that I exercise so hard and usually eat about 1100 calories to find myself staying the same weight or losing the odd lb here or there... When other people do the simplest things and the weight drops off them! This discourages me greatly :(

Also, chocolate and crisps haven't passed my lips in 2 and a half years! So I know I have the will power, I'm not a weak person! I can't stand unhealthy food, shocking I know! But I guess that's why I've lost 7 and a half stone already...

None of my family or friends will help me, are there any other people out there who feel the same??

Any advice and support would be hugely welcomed and appreciated...

Winners never quit and quitters never win :)

Welcome, I'm new as well and just starting my new diet/exercise plan.
Congrats on such great weight loss and will power! 7 1/2 stone is awesome!
Sometimes once you lose a lot of weight you will plateau for a while, which is frustrating. Just keep working, maybe try different exercises or sports that will work different areas of your blody.

"None of my family or friends will help me, are there any other people out there who feel the same??"

I feel the same way as you. I try to work out and eat healthy, but it's hard when people bring home pizza for dinner and want to bake cupcakes. I'm completely alone on the exercising, too.

My advice would be just to keep doing what you've been doing. You're losing the weight and being healthy for you, and if your family or friends won't help, they're not worth worrying over. It sounds like you've been doing a great job.

Good luck, and congrats on great progress! This website is really supportive and a good resource.

    ^Thank you! :D
I'm just doing old fashion calorie counting and exercise. I don't really have a strict plan or diet, just eating healthy and getting in shape!

The whole point of this forum is weight loss support for people who may or may not have support at home.

You're super close to your goal weight! Good luck, and thanks again.

Hi I have just started and have along way to go.I am too old to carry all my weight.I couldn't even loose weight for my daughters wedding as I comfort eat and all the stress resulted in weight gain.I am Nana to a lovely boy and another one on the way in February.I have been looking at success stories and have gained some comfort from them. The saying is " THE JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILE STARTS WITH THE FIRST STEP".This is my first step, good luck to all the others out there taking their firststep too.

    Hey hun!

yeah im so unhappy with my body, i dont mind my legs its my tum and arms so i keep doing weight work outs to tone up! I say to people though im 11 stone and there like what ?? (as they think im lighter) And the reason i think i am so heavy is my bum haha im convinced!!! its just so big but i love it! so in a way i dont want it to go!

Its called Trim-endous but changing name to New Image. My friends sister was on it for 1 week and lost 8lb so i was like WOW i have to try these whilst on slimmers. Also a friend of hers has been on them for 6 months now and lost 3 stone! And apparently she hasnt really stuck to any diet which is amazing.

But I had alot of negitave feedback off the forum because of them, some people saying i cant be doing the slimmers world programme whilt taking them. When i dont see why not? Im doing SW exactly the same just cutting my syns down and taking a slimming tab...

But this morning I checked a thread I posted in about slimming pills and people reported back to me that its dangerous to take any slimming pill and it got me worrying a little. So once my holiday comes, im going to cut them out but still follow Slimmers World.

Aww thank you hun that was taken on my holiday in November 09 wish i was still that colour lol. And i think you go on user CP and edit avatar :D

Ill add you to my friends list now so we can update one another on our weight loss! (and ill update u on the slimming tab!)

    Good luck hunni xxxx

    Hi Lozzy!

I also love to exercise and can also not stand unhealthy foods. I'm so proud of you for also following the healthy route. Just keep on doing that and you will lose your weight. It may take a while, but you should be patient.

And remember that you should change your exercise routine at least every 3-4 months, so that your body don't get used to the exercise and then stops your weight loss.
