Hello lovely people!
Firstly I would just like to say thank you to all of you for inspiring me to re-do the Cambridge Weight Plan and I feel incredibly motivated by your stories and photos. The determination and strength I've seen on here is something I will definitely be keeping in mind if I start to struggle!
i first tried CD in 2008, weighing 16st and managed to lose about a stone and a half but didn't take it seriously and soon crept up to 15st and stayed around that weight until last year when I discovered I had gone up to nearly 17 stone! This was a huge shock for me and I am desperate to do something about it as I am getting married in July!
i tried to do it the 'proper' way by restricting my calories to 1200 a day, exercise 5 times a week and get my 5 a day with lots of water but have killed myself doing this for a month and have absolutely nothing to show for it on the scales or the tape measure :-(
Following my previous success on CD (I have tried pretty much everything else including SW, WW, Celebrity Slim and Herbalife and have failed at all of them), I thought I'd give it another go.
i met my consultant today who is lovely. I weighed in at 17st 6lbs and BMI came out at 43 which means I have to start on 810 and can then elect to go on SS when I reach 16st if I want to.
if you have any tips or advice please feel free to share.
Thank you so much!
