This week is going to be my 3rd week weighed myself this week and havent lost anything
Im suprised actually because ive done alot more exercise this week havent cheated at all and drunk sooo much water but nothing.
After a loss last week I hoped even the scales would show a 1lb loss if anything so feeling a bit downhearted today not helping the choccie biccies seem to be calling to me from the kitchen..must keep the willpower!:sigh:

aww cherry, i know exactly how you feel the last few weeks i've gained or sts and it does make you feel rubbish.

i gained when i started exercising, apparently if you start exercising suddenly then your muscles hold on to water to begin with? also you could have a bit of water retention if you have been glugging too much? i reckon if you stick with it you'll see a loss next week.

i just read your post about not having snacks - that could be another reason that you are not getting enough calories (especially if exercising). i tried cutting my calories to 800 once and didnt loose anything so the ''starvation mode'' is definately not a myth.

i find it hard to snack too so i know its not easy. how many of those choccy biccys can you have for 300cals?? work it out then spread them out over the day.

lastly - how about you take your measurements? someone advised me to do this so last week i got my tape measure out and noted all my measurements. ill measure again in a couple of weeks in the hope that although i havent lost many lbs i might have lost a few inches here and there.

Anyway, chin up and carry on we will all get there :)

    Amy xx

    Hi,
There may be some secret cals sneaking in, milk in teas etc. I think the diet that Slimfast recommend is actually a bit high for most of us, try tinkering with it a bit and use their stuff plus other food , thats what I do.

I have had a dreadful day, we had friends to lunch, full roast etc. I ate a small portion, no potatos a tiny bit of pudding and then hoovered up ALL the left overs including wine, left over pre lunch crisps ,juicy fatty scrumptious bits left in the roasting tin, flapjacks I made for tea. That is the trouble with being too strict and having a glass of wine, I turn into some sort of human garbage disposal machine.
Oh well, tomorrow is a new week and I will be back on the straight and narrow.

i think we all have weeks like this so don't give up.:hug99:

i'm on my 7th week and don't understand how the diet works at all. one week i lose, next couple either put on or sts and i haven't done anything different so i think you've just got to keep on trying and eventually it will come right.

eat all they say they should including snacks and plenty of water and it should come right. sending you lots of good vibes to keep away from the chocci biccis!:vibes:
